iPhone 5, it screams. Do you agree?

Coming from a 4, it really is buttery smooth at everything I throw at it. No stutter or anything. Very happy with the device so far. Screen is beautiful and call quality is excellent.

It's crazy fast. Not just the LTE
-Apps so fast!
Word scramble used to lag for least 30+secs now instantly opens
-Photo, low light pretty impressive no longer grainy (which I'm shocked I haven't heard much yayayy abt that)
-battery life better, I can finally pump up the brightness lol
-speaker phone. I can finally hear you now!
And yes much much snappier, faster. I just might be in love!!

Now I did switch from AT&T to vzw (lost my grandfathered unlimited data) had no choice. Didn't get reception in my new town.
But the family share isn't that bad. I was paying 210.00 for 2 iPhones to AT&T
Now I'm paying 160.00 for 2 iPhones - Im sure ill need more than 6gb data but upgrading easy enough. Still have 50.00 to play with before its even the same price!

Agreed. After reading about the new benchmarks, I was expecting it to be fast and it sure is wicked fast. But I had no idea it would be this smooth.

Ever since ios5 my ip4 got stuttery...

Freaking LOVE my new phone. LTE is amazing-its faster than my home internet.. I need LTE on my ipad now

Only thing is im still debating exchanging for a black, but 'scuffgate' is making me hesitate. I'd be happy sticking with white tho,its beautiful. I do wonder if maybe i should get a 64 (i have a 32). Those things aside, I'm in love :)

Just come over to AT&T. They let you upgrade and keep the unlimited plan, no matter how much you pay for the phone.

That won't help him as he has to already have had an unlimited plan with AT&T.

That being said I'm with you I am happy that AT&T let us keep our grandfathered plan and subsidized phone even if there is a throttle. I honestly don't understand why Verizon customers are so happy with how they handled it and aren't more outraged with how they handled it.

Plus if you think about it Verizon could take away that unlimited plan from them at anytime since they did not have to sign a contract since they didn't get the subsidized phone. Plus he could've probably found a cheaper plan with someone else (Like a smaller carrier) if he is willing to pay for the phone so why would he go with the more expensive carrier when he was getting no benefit from them.

Agree
Speed of phone is insane not counting network speed
LTE is insane and this is what cloud future needed
Actually not dropping calls on Verizon after 2 years of AT&T is great

Wow, you must be a very patient person.

Lol . . . As long as my 2g was working and my apps were running fine, I didn't see a need to upgrade.

Last year, I was not able to receive mass texts from friends and family. More recently, my banking apps and some others were no longer supported. Thus, when the ip5 was announced, I did not hesitate this time. My wife and son tease me with regard to my next upgrade. They figure my next upgrade will be the ip10 pr something like that. ;)

Verizon customers are idiots that's why. They worship the company cause they had one bad experience at AT&T. Then they get the same issue at Verizon but they keep their mouth shut to avoid looking dumb:p

I'm not sure I'd go as far to label them "idiots," but there does appear to be some selective criticism. Every carrier will have dropped calls and intermittent network issues.

For me, the deal breaker with Verizon or Sprint would be CDMA. I can't imagine not being able to talk and browse simultaneously. CDMA does have better call quality, but on the most important calls where the even the chance of a dropped call is unacceptable, one should use a landline.

Got a chance to fool around with my friends 5 last night, did some side by side tests with his 5 vs my 4S. Faster than my 4S but not by much. Opens apps a little faster, but browsing safari through wifi the 4S was milliseconds behind the 5. Now, compared to the 4, it definitely screams. I think if you're coming from a 4, the 5 is a pleasant surprise.

I was on AT&T for 5 yrs, was a happy customer then I moved to queens and found out I barely get reception here.
So not all Verizon customers are idiots. Some of us have no choice. The sad part I live in a major borough... there shouldn't be any reason why I couldn't make a phone call without dropping a call every 2 minutes. Epic fail on AT&T part.
