fyi. It sucks but via the apple store app i couldn't change my shipping address. Probably should have picked the option to get it at the store. Ugh. Oh well.

all - one huge piece of advice. You can only ship the phone to the address on your phone's account. If you want it shipped somewhere else, first go to at&t and login (or whoever the carrier), change your home address, then go back to apple and order it. They pull the address from the carrier and if you don't want it shipped to that address, they'll say you have to pick up in store!!!

Picked up my 64GB Black one through the iPhone app on my 4. Sort of felt appropriate. Only thing that gives me pause is that I'm not showing any charge or authorization on my card, but since it's a pre-order, may be normal.

Unlocked is not available in the US until a few weeks after the launch. They do that to keep people from buying and selling overseas.

Regardless 32GB black and extra cable ordered via the iPhone app. W00t!

App worked like a charm, order completed by 12:03; my only regret is I pulled the trigger on a 32B, and on second thought maybe wanted a 64B. But my current iPhone 4 32B is only half full....
