My order changed from "Received" to "Processing" after eight and half hours. Once in that stage, I was able to change shipping address by viewing my order.

Preparing for shipment

Ordered yesterday morning from the UK store.
Now it is preparing for shipment :cool:

Preparing for shipment! As of 9:45pm PST

ME TOO!!!! I hope I'm one of those that gets it a day early by accident!! :D

I had to call the Apple Activation line to confirm my address. They did not ask for any confidential info and the whole call took 2 minutes. I guess my address was different on ATT's side for some reason.

I was charged the $36 even though it's only been a year since I joined Sprint and I paid full price for my phone! I'm hoping I can get that fee waived.

Good to know that my order will be delivered on the 21st. I ordered around 2am on the 14th.

Got mine ordered and confirmed at about 8:30 am

Status:
Thank you for pre-ordering the 16G iPhone 5. You are one step closer to getting your phone. Keep an eye out for a shipping email with your tracking information. Pre-orders placed through 2 pm CT on 9/14 will arrive on or around 9/21. Orders placed after 2 pm CT on 9/14 will ship in 2 weeks. For questions, visit sprint.com/preorder.

Ordered through Sprint, online. Looks like I should have it on the 21 ;) Or dang close. Had to call to cinfirm since it didn't email my notification.... Sprint Store says it should arrive on the 21st since I beat the 2pm mark

For those who were wondering....
The $36 fee, is an upgrade fee for all upgrades at the 2 Year renewal stage (At least with AT&T and Sprint, as far as I know)

I didn't notice it when I used the iPhone Apple Store app, but it is there. You have to scroll to the bottom of the "Featured" tab.

You'd think they'd annoy you with it when adding an iPhone to the cart and while checking out, but they didn't.

I didn't use Apple Store app I used apple.com on my computer and it was not there..

iPhone 5 for use on Cincinnati Bell Wireless

I would like some input from someone as to which unlocked model of the iPhone 5 that I should purchase for use on my Cincinnati Bell Wireless account. I have listed below the specifications for the three models that are being released by Apple. Since I have no technical experience, I need help in determining which of the three models that I should order for best functioning on Cincinnati Bell Wireless. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

GSM model A1428*:
● UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz);
● GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz);
● LTE (Bands 4 and 17)

CDMA model A1429*:
● CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B (800, 1900, 2100 MHz);
● UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz);
● GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz);
● LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 13, 25)

GSM model A1429*:
● UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz);
● GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz);
● LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5)

That was easy...

At 2am central time I was ready to pre- order my iPhone 5, I grab my iPhone and my phone is dead! I quickly grab my iPad and download the app store, I then quickly order my iPhone 32gb and by 2:08am I'm done. Within seconds I receive a email from apple confirming that they received my order and it's being processed. In the words of Staples.... That was EASY!*D21EF5D4-1CFC-4141-BC26-228DC0CE8691-834-000000396BC5A3DE.jpg

My tracking info shows my 2 week availability order arriving at my place on Oct 5th. That's 8 days before I get home. I especially can't wait to get back to the states. :D

A1428 is the model you want to use with BELL since they use Band 4 for LTE

Mine says preparing for shipment. Apple support emailed me and asked if I would like to purchase Apple Care Plus sine I didn't get a chance to via the Apple Store App.

Did anybody that preordered through Sprint get an email? I haven't even gotten a confirmation email from them.

Do you know how to view your order? I checked the Sprint site but it says I need to use the order number that they'd send through email.

EDIT: Finally found it. Their site is quite a maze of links! Or I'm an idiot.

Yes. It came a few minutes after ordering yesterday morning.

iPhone 4 Free

So on Verizon I ordered two 5's and two 4's, but the 4's aren't free. Apple has them as free. I'm confused
