Except it says you have to add it to the cart at the same time as you purchase the phone. So if you didn't do that, you may be stuck with going to the store. Hopefully you won't have to. Just reading what they say on the site. :)

Ya I know you have to add to cart at same time of purchase as iPhone but thats why I posted because didn't even give me the option to add to cart at the same time I ordered my phone so I was posting to see if anyone else had same issue.

I didn't notice it when I used the iPhone Apple Store app, but it is there. You have to scroll to the bottom of the "Featured" tab.

You'd think they'd annoy you with it when adding an iPhone to the cart and while checking out, but they didn't.

I was able to complete my order

Last night I ordered 2 iPhones, one for me and one for my wife.
The first order went through with no issues, the second order I got a message that I have a reservation for the iPhone but I'll need to process it later. And this morning I finished up the process, both phones confirmed to arrive 9/21... Yeh!!!

So who here will admit to paying exhirbitant penalty fees to buy this outside of your update window?
 
Shipping address

Is anybody else missing the apartment number for their shipping address? At&t has it but somehow it's missing. Trying to call apple since it doesn't show on my order details but I can't get through. I wonder why:rolleyes:
 
I started to wonder why we're called Premier members on AT&T. We pay less than everyone else because we're on a business plan, so AT&T makes less money off of us. I think that's why none of us was able to order a phone until 5 hours after launch, and ONLY on AT&T's site. I think Premier = "Last in line cheapskates. Pay extra for an individual plan."
I think I'm going to pay the extra $6/month and be able to order from the Apple Store app next year...
 
VERIZON FOLKS check your order status. I ordered at 3:01 am. Process was done by 3:11 am. Got confirmation email showing 9/21/2012 delivery at 3:14 am.

I just checked my order status and now I am pushed to 9/26/2012. :(

Hoping that this status update, is automatic based on current (real time) stock levels and not based on the time I got my order processed. If this is the case then I will still get it on the 21st.
 
Just ordered the black 32gig through AT&T. It went very smooth. Only slowdown was me...trying to understand why I'm getting charged a $36 upgrade fee when I'm upgrading from 3G, so yes I've had it for 4 years.

Plus it looks like (potentially) another $24 for the unlimited data plan since I was already grandfathered in I guess???

Anyway, I will fight AT&T to reduce fees once I get the phone. It's just a game isn't it? And we're all a bunch of doops for playing it. I remember the days I loathed carrying a cell phone...

E-mail from ATT says delivery "as soon as 9/21". Which probably means 2 weeks.

Moto - You should be able to go in to your order in the Apple.com store and change the delivery address while it is in the "Processing" stage. Just do it quick before they move it to "Prepared for Shipment" :)

I'll have to give it a try later yet -- I can't get into the store! After login it gives me the "Something went wrong. Try again later".

Must still have a lot of traffic :rolleyes:
 
Sprint Data / Voice plan looks cheaper compared to new customers for AT&T and Verizon.
Though Sprint LTE is very limited, hope that is the cheapest of all three.
Any suggestions pls?

By the way, I'm switching from AT&T (grandfathered) to Sprint :)

Same here. A little pissed off :mad:!! Email says delivery by 21st check it online and says 9/26! Not happy. Hope your assumption is right.
 
I got one of those reservation emails that reserves an iPhone for me because they could not get through to AT&T. I got a second email saying that Apple got through to AT&T and clicked on the link to complete my order in the 24 hour period. The link pulls up my unlimited data and everything but it ask for me to reconfirm my wireless account info and then it fails to pull my account again from AT&T... Really! Again AT&T?

The worst part is that I can order through the AT&T website but I doubt I would be able to get my phone will get here by 9/21 and I would be without a phone for a few weeks.
 
what ticks me off i have to call to order mine. when i try go to to the site on my premier site I don't get any apple products. I'm starting to hate premier business. I called at 1am dialing 611 got online told her I want to pre-order the she told me have to call 888-296-4561 called said they don't open until 7am Central. I called back at that time and I got in but the guy said we are not taking order we will call you today, tomorrow or monday. He said first come first severed. So he took my info which model I want and everything but my credit card. So I didn't trust him I tried to call 611 again I got in again had to hold about an hour and she told me she can't take order because I'm on premier so I'm fid up with premier :mad:

Well good luck, I can't even camp out no Apple store near not like 6 hours and the ATT store is like an hour away. I guess I'm going to loose my unlimited data so I can leave premier and go personal. I'm not even saving any money with premier always :(
 
My update

So I woke up at 1:50 AM and decided I wanted to move to Verizon. I ordered two 5's and 2 4's. The 4's were NOT free as they are on Apple's site. Apple was down. My order was on hold, had to do a credit verification. I completed that.. no deposit... which surprised me. AT&T made me pay one a few years ago. The ship date was 9/21, then 9/26 now it's back to 9/21. I haven't received my order confirmation yet though.
