LTE is worth the upgrade, plus lighter, faster processor....

Personally, (flamers, I'm talking about *me personally*) these features don't matter much to me.

- I get 3+Mbps download on 3G, I consider that fast enough.
- Lighter is not an issue for me because I like the heavier feel. It makes it feel less "toyish", and,
- The 4S processor seems a lot snappier than my 4, so it's all I want to tide me over till hopefully a better 5S come along in a year's time.

OMG! Your decision will certainly have a devistating impact on Apple's future. :D

fsck yeah!!! :D

It certainly does on my future... that $500 I saved by picking up a brand new 4S instead means I'm halfway to the 5S when it's out next year.

That is *if* that one is worth the upgrade (wider screen, nfc, etc)

Otherwise... what else can i spend that $500 on?

Actually it's $535 because i would have had to buy that 30 pin adapter which should have been included with the 5 in my opinion anyways.

.

I'm loving this phone. LTE alone was worth the upgrade. So much faster than 3G.

Just ran a speed test. AT&T LTE is faster than my home wifi.

The thing is people just run out and buy the new iPhone. Why? Because it's the new iPhone. I rarely hear anyone talk about what they actually do with the iPhone, what great things they accomplish with it or how it helps them with their day to day experiences? I just hear "Well the iPhone, it's the best." At least those Android fanboys cite reasons.
In my line of work the iPhone is a must have time saving tool. I use apps that calculate hp, kilowatts, torque, load calculations ect, making my jobs faster and easier a huge game changer for me.

That's cool you found functionality in the iPhone for your needs.

Although it isn't necessarily the iPhone making it possible, it's just some calculator apps. If those apps are/were available on other platforms would you still use an iPhone? Would you try the apps on other platforms to see which one really worked best? Is it really the iPhone doing it for you or the app?

To date the iPhone is the only phone that has all the apps that I use. Android has some but not all.

you guys are all losers, why don't you try going out and banging chicks

Coming from a person with the s/n losers. haha

You should consider taking your own advice as you have plenty of time to be on here posting nonsense.

----------

Your equation can be reduced down to "iPhone x+1 will have worked out the bugs in iPhone x" by subtracting 1 from each side.

So iPhone 10 + 2 (12) is the same as iPhone 10-1 + 2-1 (10) ?

Interesting.

I thought the same as you until I used my wife's and son's 5 (mine is due this week through the office)...fast enough goes away when you use LTE...it was quite surprising. But...if you have a 4S and you are not due to upgrade, waiting for the next is a good decision...I'm a firm believer of leap-frogging the updates....
