I'm getting the black one and taking a Brillo pad to it as soon as I get home... Taking a video of it, and then drop the link in here... I'm gonna make mine cool with an aged and worn look...
I hate that They should used glass. I have iPhone 4 and it looks like new been dropped and always in my pocket. Still looks new
I don't know why everybody is so surprised by this. Obviously, glass is harder than aluminum. But it does break more easily, too... There's just no material that resists everything.
Its just a phone, who cares if it has a bunch of scratches and scrapes, if its a big deal in your life, you have worse problems.
Everyone's black iPhone is going to look like ass in the matter of weeks. This pretty much confirms it. Especially that test with the ring.
It is, simply as its the same material. However due to the color contrast, the scuffs on the white iphone will be a lot less visible than black.
Cut to two weeks later when iFixit brings you the new Black iPhone repair kit for the low low price of $19.99!
Can anyone tell me if the white doesn't show scratches. ????? Thanks if you got one and using it now.

She is.
I would love to see the reactions Jony Ive and his team had after watching this video...
Seriously? You give a 2-year old metal tools and tell her to go at it, and then some fools on MacRumors claim that it'll have the same effect if you put it in your pocket for a couple weeks?!
The white iPhone supposedly has a "natural" or silver colored aluminum back. Scratches are less likely to show on this kind of surface
Except that the iPhone 4S didn't scuff at all. Weren't paying much attention to the video, were we?Is this seriously what we are resorting to now for news clicks? If you gouge a 2 year old a set of keys and have her bang the crap out of an iPhone, it scratches. SCUFFGATE.
Gotta love people who state opinions as fact...Frankly, the real problem is the black sides of the phone are ugly. Really, *** ugly.
If you bought AppleCare plus with your black iPhone 5 and your iPhone got badly scuffed, could you purposely crack the screen to get a brand new iPhone for 50 bucks?
