iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

Just to re-confirm, does this mean its available now for pick up? I know this store is 24 hours so it may work differently there.

Here is link KPOM posted on first page of thread. Phones will be ready for pick-up next day at store. You have up to two weeks to pick up, apparently. your upgrade Eligibilty should now be gone since they have reserved your phone, assigned you to SIM and processed payment. You can check those things. Apple emails come fast..,no waiting and refreshing pages and sitting on forums, should be instant confirmation, followed by "your order is ready for pickup" email before the store opens, mine came in between 6-8am today. GL all, the hunt is over for many...but wayyy fewer in stock tonight than last night....

I want to get mine exchanged and I was told all their stock was reserved for the reservation system. I was told that since I have a 30 day return policy my only chance would be to wait until next month and hope stock will be better then.
 
Upgrade swap - I talked to an att&t rep today and she said once I have the phone I can go to AT&T or call their customer service to switch the phone over and restore the original plan I had on the line I bought the iphone on (non-iphone plan w/out data) ~ but of course there's still the 2 yr contact on that dummy line.
 
Got the confirmation email for pick up gonna try to go to the 24 hour 5th ave store... hopefully im able to get it now
 
Update: You may only have 5 or so days to do pickup. I did this last night (wee morning) of 09/25 and did not pick up today, just checked my order status and the pick up by date of 09/30 was added.

That would be fantastic to go down there and get it now. Immediate reward... Ahh dopamine release.
 
Finally able to reserve the black ATT 16gb at Michigan, but haven't received the pick up email yet, does anyone how long it takes for that email to go out?
 
Thanks for that msg 531 - won't be able to get to the store until 7:30. I was worried they'd release it at 6 even though I technically purchased it.

I think they have a few thousand Chinese workers with Sharpees fixing the scuffed black ones. Takes some time.

i find it hard to believe there isn't a single iphone available in the Philadelphia region...is it possible that they just haven't updated inventories yet?

if there really are none available and nobody was able to pre-order at a store tonight, i'd imagine they get some phones in tomorrow. will they be available for walk-ins?

I live in the Philadelphia region and I was able to reserve a black 16gb just after 10pm tonight. I'm picking it up at the Ardmore store tomorrow.

Well right yesterday they had 32GB Black AT&T, and today they had 64GB White AT&T. They've been getting some but very few. :(

I'm tempted to wait until 11 to see if more stock is added.

I've been to ABQ uptown 2 times in person since launch day and they didn't have a 32GB Verizon White. I checked today and yesterday night to reserve one but still none.

You think they'll add stock as the night goes on?

Haha me too! I went Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, Sunday morning, and they keep telling me maybe tomorrow. :eek:

I'm not too sure, but last night nothing was updated until 10 Pacific, so if anything changes that's when it will.

Edit: Yeah I got told to come back Saturday and Sunday and I did with no luck.

I went on Friday around 12pm, they had a 32GB Verizon Black but no white. So I took the reserve ticket but I still really wanted a white one in my head. I waited in line a while but I had class soon so I decided to let the black one go since it wasn't really the one I wanted. It's weird because I was talking to the lady handing out the tickets and I'm pretty sure that the 32gb Verizon white was the only one they didn't have when I got there but they a had a bunch of black ones. I guess they received a lot more blacks than white ones for launch day..

Anyone confirm a update in the wee hours or a change in availability after all the stores in your region were wiped out?
