iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

I had to run downstairs to get my credit card because I didnt remember the security 3 digit code. I thought I was going to lose my reservation, but the order went through. I can walk to the Beverly Center on my lunch break!
 
I mean, you have to kind of figure that by 10 pm local time,most of the retail stores have either closed within the hour, or very close to. So whatever system they have to go through to update each store's stock levels has to batch and send. Not to mention, they have to close the store, and count allllll the moneyz.

Point is, I think it just takes some time to get all the inventory levels updated. I just want a 32GB Black ATT. I sleepily pre-ordered the 16 my mistake when I was trying to get through the madness of ordering 2 phones. Looks like I may just be using a lot of cloud services this year. Oh well..Good luck everyone!
 
Just got home, went and got my 32 GB in black from the store on 5th Ave in NYC :) the journey is finally over.. now to cancel my preorder from the at&t store

I ****ing had TWO 16 GB White AT&Ts in stock at Glendale , but hesitated since it was an hour drive. . .

Ugh , so many regrets were had. . . :(

:) I might just end up doing what I did on Saturday. Store is supposed to open at 10am but I figured it was going to be a long line so I got to the store around 8am and was 5th in line. Store ended up selling right at 8am and I got my 32gb black. Hoping they will get a restock late Friday so I can get one on Saturday.
