iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

I was like fast & accurate at the same time and ... where the heck is the Place Order icon, lol. At the last minute, the sign in using Apple ID thing distracted me (lost some time on it, can't type in the right password) - as I purchased it as a guest. Thought am gonna lose it.

I always gets an error endlessly too on my iPad just like last night that I have to clear all my cookies and history - then after that it works like a charm!

Put multiple models in the cart. Also, I dont really think the inventory changes much by 10:05.

So its a waste to check all day long. Heck, the local pickup option will be disabled once there is nothing left in the immediate area.
 
I grabbed whatever the first closest store that shows up "In Stock", lol. I did not even go to the next pages of other farther stores.
 
Yay got myself a 16 black and wife a 32 black. Just waiting on the second email now...

Not true. I've been checking the last 3 nights and never did my "pick up at store" button disable, it just showed stock as unavailable.

Naw man try in New Mexico where we only have ONE Apple Store and we're literally a desert out here:cool:

I was thinking if one of the models is In Stock and the others are not available, the stores will show up as unavailable so I did not use this strategy. I mean they must all be in stock ... Good call, it worked for you!
 
Anyone successful in reserving one online and when to the store next day and request for the device only?

Well, I started typing a minute before 10pm est but got that error again.

So maybe around 10:10 pm est when I got into that select store and maybey am too slow (others got it in other stores-who knows) that's why there's only one store left with a stock(?).

I received my confirmation email at 10:14 pm est so it's definitely around 10:10 or less since I typed my billing & cc info after that and lost a minute or too.
 
Got my 32 white today after returning my launch 32 black two days ago.

Got my mom and brother 16 black tonight, to pick up tomorrow

:)

Mom and bro are located in different states. South FL iPhones went RIDICULOUSLY quick I almost lost it in the cart, said it was unavailable but I got the order through and my bro got a confirmation.

Someone on this thread yesterday said that they successfully reserved one for the next day but he was going to ask for the unsubsidized price when he went into the store. I don't know how it went for him. Hopefully everything went as planned because I'm planning on doing the same thing.

I'm not sure what you mean - but I purchased/reserved one just now for pickup tomorrow and paid full price. (Full price shows now as pending on my debit card).
 
I originally ordered a 64 which was unavailable, then used the change model option in the shopping cart to look for 32 and it was in stock in two Manhattan stores.
 
bit off topic but now to decide where to sell my 4. the lock button is pretty much stuck and the home button will take 4/5 tries to work. I was thinking gazelle for $125, anybody have experience dealing with them?

how did you pay full price for it?
I paid $199 plus tax...

ohh. I have a feeling it is because my contract is not up, so it didn't even give me the option to pay the subsidized price.
