iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

Looking like tonight there's actually gonna be a chance to snag one on the west coast. There seems to be stuff in stock for a good 10-15 mins in the major cities
 
Some people seem to be getting better results as thing goes on. Hopefully stock levels increase each night over the coming days/weeks.
 
If successful tonight in ordering iPhone 5 for pick up at store, how long does the Apple store hold the phone for, 24 hours? Can I pick it up Saturday morning?

I can't find anywhere as to how long the Apple store will hold it for. If I can't pick it up within 24 hours (or whatever their time frame is) will Apple just refund it on my credit card that I used for the purchase? What about my my two year contract, what happens to that?

Hey fellow South Floridians. I got my 32gb White ATT! The odd thing is it showed available at one of the stores (it went so fast that I clicked it) took me though checkout, then said something about unavailable. Geezuz. Just my luck I figured.

I went back, looked at availability, and I saw Aventura had one (I didnt wait again to see if Miami Beach since I was busy clicking). Aventura and Miami Beach are basically the same distance from me, so I'm happy. Did you all have luck?

And btw, I got my processing email from Apple at 10pm. LOL... I know my order didnt go in till at least a few minutes after 10pm.

The "Where Ready for You" email came in 25 minutes later. Had it been at Miami Beach, they are still open till 11pm!

I got lucky tonight as well. I got the 16gb Black ATT at the Lincoln Road Store. Just waiting for the next email.
 
Snagged me a 16 GB Black/Slate AT&T from Lakeside Mall here in New Orleans. Was looking for a 32GB, but 16 will be fine. Never even came close to using all that room on my 32GB 4S. Just waiting on the "Ready for Pickup" e-mail.
 
Was able to reserve a 16gb white Verizon phone in MN. (Rosedale). Couldn't find any black 64gb though. Will see if they would let my folks help me buy it device-only.
 
I got 2 phones in the King of Prussia/Philly area! One in the Ardmore store and one in the King of Prussia store. Awesome! Let's hope most of the people on here complaining about out of box defects are just trolling =P
 
just checking stores in the STL-Arkansas, Tenn, GA, AL area and found only

16g black in one Memphis store
white 32 in 2 Nashville stores

Only checked ATT

Most people have said they hold it for 2 weeks. But I haven't heard anything from an Apple rep about it. But hopefully someone chimes in with more concrete evidence.
 
ARGHHH!!!!!!:mad: not 1 damn Verizon 32gb White in 4 days! NOT ONE!!! Not just in my state but in all neighboring states! WTH?????

Yeah no luck for me either. The closest I have gotten in the last 4 nights was when one night they had an AT&T White 64GB. Oh well I guess I'll have a go at it tomorrow night.

Ironically enough, they have an AT&T White 32GB.

I was able to get a 32gb black att order from the boca raton apple store, i got the processing email at 10:03 but still havent gotten the ready to pickup email. I know i was one of the first to pre order because at about 10:10 i checked and there were still phones available. hopefully i get the email later tonight or tomorrow.
