iPhone 5 Screen Protectors Show Elongated Home Button Area

You think you can remote lock your phone before a half-savvy thief simply turns it off? I haven't tested it, but does the remote wipe "signal" get constantly sent every second until the phone is erased (say someone powers it off then reboots it later in an area with poor signal, or simply pops it into airplane mode immediately upon booting it).
 
For me the screen will be way too big. It will be like small iPad. I liked the idea of the same size of the iPhone but screen increased right up to edges. This iPhone won't be appealing anymore for many.
Just my 2 cents.
 
NO REDESIGN THIS FALL. Dont get your hopes up.

All this dramatic redesign rumors are FAKE.. so dont count on it. The next iPhone will looks almost same as the current iphone 4. Only changes are:

-Faster CPU
-Higher capacity battery
-Camera module
-antenna redesign

That's pretty much it.. dont expect that wide home button and larger screen.

I have a friend who works for one of the battery suppliers and told me that N94 is what we are gonna see this fall and all other rumors are BULL..

Eh? "Way too big"? It looks barely larger than the current one, like going from 3.5" to 3.7". That's a "small iPad"? :confused:

This isn't guessing or speculation. There was a real design document leaked to manufacturers. This is the product of that design document.

Is the design real? Is it really the iPhone 5? We don't know yet, but it's not just throwing out random guesses.

Yes yes of course! All Apple's partners, including CEOs of AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint, and a million other employees in between are kept in the dark, but your friend who works for a battery supplier has the 411. Great.

I have not seen ANY SG screen protector with a "home" button cut out as large as this one. Probably because the SG "home" button is tiny and there would be no need for a cutout that big. In fact, it would look rediculous on the SG.

Also the corners of the Galaxy's home button aren't that rounded.
 
This is me waiting for some kind of official IPhone 5 news.

Question for you then smarty pants: Amongst the component leaks that we've seen recently tagged as N94 wasn't there a battery amongst them that was pretty identical to the current iPhone 4 battery?

If so then you sir are talking absolute rubbish and I hope that someone can find that post to back me up.

Apple takes expectations like these, chews them up and ***** them out their ass.

Apple release things then they want to. When they are ready for release. No matter what anyone says or expects or predicts.
 
I will laugh when this turns out to be for the new ipod touch

and the iphone update we all want so badly is just an updated 4.
 
Too many rumors in both directions. More important would be if it is a universal world phone, i.e. for ATT as well as Verizon, working in US and abroad... That would tempt me to leave AT for good...
 
Where is the front camera hole?

Seems legit, but i do not see the front facing camera hole like on iPhone4 screen protectors.

More cases were right than wrong. There were some that were wrong.

Right: iPod Nano, iPad Nano (square), 3G iPhone, iPad 2

The iPod touch with camera was based on real data. The camera was dropped at the last minute for unclear reasons.

Regardless, your original claim that case manufacturers know nothing about future product designs is very wrong.
