iPhone 5 Shipped Thread

I ordered at 1:30AM Pacific on the 14th and was quoted 5 October. Went to Preparing to Ship as of yesterday and as of today it's on it's way from China with a planned delivery of 27 September.
 
Was supposed to arrive on the 5th, but shipped today and is expected to arrive on the 28th!

This is my first iPhone, but not my first iOS device, and I'm very excited to cast aside this junk android I have.
 
People cancelled after getting the Iphone in stores. Some people order as a backup in case there's little availability in stores.
I visited the Soho store Friday after work (5;30) and there was still 100 people on line. When I left the store a half hour later there was 150 or more on line. So no question Apple has a successful launch on its hands.
Most likely by sunday night they'll be out of stock.

Big Reason for pushing up orders also is that Apple cannot count the the sales into their earnings unless the item has shipped.
 
My phone shipped a few hours ago and is sitting in Zheng Zhou, China. I am assuming it will probably leave Monday for HK? Anyone know?

I still haven't been charged on my credit card and my Apple profile page still shows as preparing to ship. No email yet from Apple either.

I ordered four iPhone 5s's yesterday through my company's business account. Why is my email from Verizon stating the inventory is out of stock and that they expect delivery on 10/19/12!!!!!!! I am not a happy customer as my company spends $1500/month on voices/data.
 
i ordered mine 9/14 somewhere around 7PM pacific time. it is still backordered. is there any chance of me getting it this week. I WNAT MY IPHONE!!!!!!!
 
How can some be back ordered and others not when the orders are placed on the same day. Plus, you'd think Verizon would take care of their top customers.

probably depends on when your order was received by apple/att/verizon? plenty ordered early morning and didn't get an email of order received until late morning. by then the first batch was gone.
 
Shipped. Scheduled for 21st, but nothing

The iPhone was shipped and arrived at the local distribution hub for UPS. It was out for delivery Friday 5am. Saturday afternoon. Still nothing. Called UPS multiple times and they don't know where it is. They say wait until Monday before moving forward.

Called Apple and they said they will put out a inquiry but wont do anything until 3 business days.

Anything else I can do?
 
Does anyone know the status for sprint LTE in Los Angeles? I have the iPhone 5 and it just connects to 3G ...........
 
has anyone had theirs shipped, recieved tracking but has no estimated delivery date? my tracking doesnt say anything besides an origin scan in china as of yesterday afternoon.

The UPS Tracker does not give a delivery date for mine, but the Apple Store shipping notice says it will deliver on 27 September.

I expect once it leaves China, the UPS page will update with a delivery date (hopefully sooner than the 27th).

Yes. My Apple notification only indicates that the iPhone was shipped on 22 September. There is no information provided on the expected delivery date.

However, the UPS tracker info indicates that the item has been scanned for departure from

ZhengZhou, China at 09/23/2012 9:15 A.M.
Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong at 09/23/2012 4:46 P.M.
Jamaica, NY, United States (JFK) at 1:00am today

If it's any help, I pre-ordered on the 14th at 5:30am. I was originally given a delivery date of Sept 28th that was subsequently changed to Oct 5.
 
My phone when from China to Korea? I've never had an apple product ship through Korea before anyone else?
