iPhone 5 Shipped Thread

As I had expected/hoped, mine is now on the UPS truck for delivery, two days early.

It left Hong Kong on the 23rd for Louisville, then went to Atlanta, then back to Louisville then to Seattle.
 
Yep mine is out for delivery today which would be 3 days before my apple time. It was overnight from Louisville to Cal
 
Mine was just delivered. Of course I'm sitting here at work and won't get to play with my precious until this afternoon.

Thought I'd share my phone's odyssey with those who are also similarly obsessed. I saw that someone else is in W. MA and that a few others were clearly in the same shipment as mine so hopefully this is helpful. (Note: it was still 9/21 when I got the alert that my phone had been shipped on 9/22, since it's tomorrow in China.) ;)

I ordered at 7 am eastern on 9/14, white 64. The promised delivery time was two weeks. It seemed crazy to stay up until 3 to order, but then when I got all OCD about tracking the shipment the 3 am thing seemed a little less crazy. Thanks to this forum, my friend who didn't pre-order made her reservation at 1 am last night and is picking up her phone today. Oh wells.

I received my iPhone 5 from Sprint last Friday but I will be returning it as soon as I receive a sim card from one of those small prepaid companies so I can keep my number. Sprint's network is not working for me (literally). I just placed an order with Verizon and its expected shipping date is 10/19. :(
 
that was fast! from expected delivery on oct 5th to today! this was ordered the morning of sep 14th around 9am.

We are on the same flight, mine just landed in Anchorage, AK! It's getting closer!:D
 
My original deliver by date of 9/28 has just shipped today. It's in Memphis right now and should be here tomorrow by Fedex overnight!

I'm so excited :)
 
Mine is in Anchorage about noon today. I live in Canada so I wonder if it would enter Canada next? Or still hit Nashville sorting centre? Delivery date was Oct 5 but I could drive to AK in less time than UPS expects it to take to get here! It would fly over me to get to TN!
 
Mines landed in Anchorage at 12:50 PM local time. Anybody in the same boat as me that maybe has more information?

But expected delivery to Sask, Canada not till Oct 3! :(

Anyone ordered from Canada that can enlighten me as to the expected route it takes after leaving Alaska?

Please?! Kinda obsessed here, stress level is sky rocketing ;)
 
Just got my 64 gb black in store pick up! Lovin it !!! You have to own one of these bad boys in order to appreciate the beauty of it all!! Quick response color is so much vibrant than my 4S, .

Did you read about Foxconn workers going on a tirade in the factory? Was in the daily news this morning. If your Iphone shipped it will be here soon don't sweat it's worth the wait

I pre-ordered mine through Telstra about 20 minutes after the pre-orders became available - received it around 10am on launch day.

That was all good, but it took Telstra the weekend to actually port my number over from Optus so couldn't use the phone until Monday
 
Arrived in Louisville

Once it arrives in Louisville it is generally delivered the next day unless you live in a remote rural area. We have already gotten both of ours the next business day after it arrived in Louisville.
 
i ordered mine on sept 17. with a delivery date of oct.11-17. what are the chances of it arriving a tad earlier? im asking because my mom leaves canada, to come back here in the philippines on the 13th.

and is it possible to change delivery method? so it can arrive faster?
