iPhone 5 Shipped Thread

My two phones are still in KY and CT since Thursday.

I think Hurricane Sandy will delay Monday and Tuesday deliveries.

Checked yesterday and noticed it had shipped!
 
FOR EVERYONE IN THE SHIPPING GROUP CURRENTLY STUCK IN "Arrival Scan: Louisville, KY - 1:16AM - 10/26" I HAVE UPDATED INFO:

Basically they confirmed what a previous poster guessed. They are waiting for customs to approve the packages.

Word of warning, though. It looks like they bumped my scheduled delivery back a day, because online it says Tuesday 10/30 but on the phone he mentioned it being slated for delivery Wednesday 10/31.

I'm from NYC, so I asked if Hurricane Sandy would effect the shipment deliveries. He either wasn't informed about it or didn't care, because he didn't seem to think it'd effect anything.
 
That sucks. I'm in the KY 1:16am boat. Im really hoping this Sandy thing doesn't affect things. I'm in VT and although they love to make a huge deal out of the storm on the news, it really doesn't seem like its the type of storm that will effect UPS too much. Mainly some rain and wind, but nothing that extreme compared to what happens every time there is a bad thunderstorm. In fact much less so, just over a longer period. It's nothing compared to a winter storm and they still deliver when it snows.

>< dang it, I'm in the same boat. Well, not a whole lot I can do about it. It still stinks though. Arghh! I wonder if my delivery will get an extra day tacked on to the 10/31 quote because mine has to go back to ANC *eyeroll*.
 
iPhone 5 shipped!

Ordered my 16 gb black iPhone Oct 10 and saw last night that it shipped and should be here by thursday. Guess i got lucky bc i thought it would be the following week

Argh, I hope mine doesn't get pushed back to Tuesday as well. I was supposed to get it last Friday. Called UPS Friday night and they told me Monday. Hope the storm here doesn't affect UPS much. On another note, I wonder what's up with the customs delay. Don't they get iPhone shipments like this all the time?
 
Just got off the phone with UPS and I'm extremely confused and frustrated. I'm on the same boat as everyone with the arrival scan at 1:16 AM at Louisville. The man states that the package has not physically arrived at Kentucky and has just been pre scanned or something like that. He then said he has no idea where the phone physically is, but that it has just left Alaska on the 25th...? Anyone else completely lost?

Some man said the same to me lastnight but after calling back they stated its at customs. my estimated delivery was friday at 10:30 am and now it just says in transit but still sitting at the 1:16 scan. They claim that i shall have it by the 29th at 10:30 but it has not updated on the site....while apple says ill have it on the 30th.

Hope to never use ups again.
 
I'm with you on UPS. When Apple shipped my MacBook Pro retina in June it left China Friday night and was at my door in VT Monday at 8:30am. That was FedEx. Granted the item was over $3000, but still... UPS seems to be slower than FedEx.
 
I'm hoping that I'll get it tomorrow morning like UPS said when I called about the original delivery time friday morning. I don't think the storm should have much effect on KY, so it depends on where you live I guess. I'm in Iowa, so hopefully that won't be an issue. I'm still betting that since Apple says the 30th I won't get it until Tuesday :(
 
Anyone in NY-area waiting in KY @1:16 has to have fingers crossed for a departure scan tonight. Otherwise, I think we are tacking on at least two days. But small potatoes vs. having your house flooded and power out for two weeks. Let's hope it works out for everyone.

Lucky! Mine's still stuck in KY. Has anyone called UPS within the past few hours for the latest update? I'm working an overnight today, and would like to know why it's still stuck in KY...it's been there for like three days.

I am really excited about getting a new iPhone, which is almost on the way.

(it only takes about 30 mins from OKC to Norman)

I bought screen protector and clear case from school it store.

and I'll be ready to go!!

I'm getting nervous because it seems like all of yall's phones are like a day ahead of mine, but nobody else has my timestamps. My last scan was

which is a day behind all of you who are stuck in KY. Why the heck is my phone still in Alaska? It's probably freezing up there. It would be much more comfortable here in Texas (and in my hands!).
