Are they saying the 15th just so if anything happens we can't blame them for a late delivery? Or is it really gonna be delivered on the 15th?

I find it interesting that AT&T seems to be overnighting the phones to people now once they arrive in the US, whether they had expedited shipping or not...I wish Apple would do the same...
All of the sudden my phone goes from KY to Newark NJ. So I know it's close now. I guess it will be here tomorrow after all. Now I just have to do my pre-sign papers and hope my neighbor is going to be home.
So I assume UPS says the 15th because it is a international item so they probably have to allow for additional time. Just weird that the system they use is less accurate then online![]()
My phone is now about 70 miles away from me! UPS website says it should be here by the end of the day tomorrow...can't wait!
I asked my cousin and she said that there could be a chance where I could get my phone early, but I doubt it. I read that UPS rarely delivers items before the delivery date.
My date was always originally the 10th on the UPS site, so it's not early. It was only when I called UPS this morning did they say they had the 15th. I wasn't sure what to believe because my package hadn't moved since Friday until today. I guess it went all the way from KY to NJ without another scan.
I have the 15th for delivery as well but my UPS scan says it's been in China since the 7th...![]()
Out of curiosity, how long after the pre-orderes became available did you actually order your phone? This seems like an amazingly long time to wait?
My original estimated ship time was Oct. 9-15 according the Apple site. As soon as it shipped out and the tracking number was assigned, the 10th was the delivery date showing on the UPS site. When I didn't see it move all weekend, I called UPS this morning to see what was up. That was when they told me their system said the 15th. But the UPS site was right all along.
Mine too! And is it in red letters at the top? Someone's gotta call UPS now.

Perhaps we'll get out phones sooner! Because it says delivery is being scheduled, so either we get a delivery date this week or (sadly) we get a delivery date later than the 15th.

Are you guys checking the UPS tracking a ridiculous # of times like me? Too much available tech!Same as you guys. Scheduled for 10/15 at end of day. Was in red for a while---now back to in transit---on schedule---just arrived in Korea!
