iPhone 5c purchasers! Thoughts / pics in here!

Anyone having issues with the camera? I've googled it and it seems to be a constant issue...I get a black screen most often when attempting to take a picture.
 
My phone is delivered as of 9;30AM today. I won;t get it till 5pm because my campus office won't freaking give it to me till they've put a "pink slip" in my mailbox saying a parcel has arrived for me...FML such bs...I've been patiently waiting and now this just pisses me off lol...rant over :(

Really really surprised how fast it got here, though. Ordered the phone Sun Sept 22 and it delivered Sept 25 9:30!!!! The 13 expedited paid off i guess lol.

Can't wait to get it today and have a blast with it!! :D
 
The problem I'm having is the charging port and the speaker. Twice since I've had it I have lost all sound. When I charge it all night it doesn't fully charge by morning. I love the phone I just think it's a defective device.
 
I picked up the 5c in white. I love this version. I traded my 5 for an HTC One and just couldn't hang with android. I was going to buy another 5, but waited to see the sale. I was really surprised by the feel of the phone and immediately bought it at the store. Yes it's plastic. But it's thick and feels solid. I chose white because it reminded me of the white 3GS I had back in the day. I would say the "c" stands for classic. I really like this version of the 5. I was always babying my 5 and now I can place it on its back without thinking I may just scratched it. This was a great turn for apple.

If you're anywhere near an Apple store, take it in. Sounds like you may need a replacement. It happens.
 
Does anyone know if I bought my phone directly from Apple and have Verizon Wireless on contract it I can switch it out there?
 
OMFG!! I just opened my green 5c and it's freaking marvellous!!! I haven't been this excited about a phone since I got my first 3gs!!! that was 4 yaers ago!!!!!

I was set on upgrading to a 5S 64 GB from a 4 64 GB. Then I went into the Apple Store and played with the 5C. I couldn't believe how sturdy and classic and well made it felt. I thought about it, even slimmed down the load on my 4 to see if I could go down to a 32 GB and did so easily. I decided a 64 was just an excuse to digitally hoard. I was so in love with the 5C I knew it was the perfect phone upgrading from the 4. Fast and feels great in the hand. Got it in white and am completely satisfied. A gorgeous piece of tech and no compromise. I love this thread.
 
I never post here, but I see requests for the pink so here you go! I finally plunged and upgraded from the 4-- got the 16gb yesterday and I love it. Had a tough time deciding between the pink and blue but I was drawn to this color initially so I went ahead with it! I'm not too girly girly so this shade of pink suits me well. I like that it's more of a coral than a pink.

OK, so I'm somewhat impressed! This is my first iphone, but I cancelled my land line this week, and I'm jumping in with both feet!

Got the 5c on the 20th, in the afternoon. Charged it that evening. Have had it on ever since, though it's been on standby much of that time, and I had a class all day today, so I turned it off for that. Only one phone call so far, because I had my land-line number transferred, which just happened today. Have played a game, checked email...just played with it numerous time. Trying to get used to having a smart phone, not just a cell phone.

I can't believe that my battery level right now is at 34%...I'm trying to get it down to 20 to do a discharge cycle. I know this won't hold when I start using it more, but I'm still pretty impressed. Interested to hear what others are experiencing!

That's very sharp...and I'm not a pink sort of person at all!
 
Regarding my camera issue, Apple wants me to try restoring my iPhone in iTunes. If that doesn't work, I have to mail it back for a replacement :rolleyes: What stinks is that my MacBook Pro hard drive crashed today just when I was about to restore my iPhone settings in iTunes. I already restored factory settings from my iPhone but that didn't do anything to get my camera to quit freezing!
 
I had issues with a defective screen on my original green 5c 16gb. But i took it back to the shop today and they replaced it no hassle at all! This is why i love Apple!!

I have an edge bumper for it that i got online at play.com for £4 which is perfect because it doesnt make the phone feel massive.

Couldnt be happier!
 
Thinking about returning my yellow 5c for a blue (I have not seen the colors in person). Thoughts? The blue looks better than expected
 
I know it's silly because it defeats the purpose of showing off our beauties but I can't carry my IPhone around with a case for protection! I've never been able to! Anyone have cool suggestions on protective cases for the 5C?

Nice pictures ! I am soooo close to canceling my 5s order and getting a 5c. Who the heck knows when I may get my gold 32gb 5s.
 
I wasn't crazy about the case either; it was just intended as a temporary solution until I found something better elsewhere, as case options were limited on launch day.

But it's really grown on me. I love the vibrant color and the soft feel of the material.
 
Just got back from the Apple Store. Turns out they wouldn't sell me a new iPhone because I'm not an authorized account member, and they also said I wouldn't be able to order one online. Ended up going home and ordering online with no problems. Kinda mad because I could've just ordered it in the store with pickup and picked it up right there but they lied and said I couldn't.

Oh well, at least I got to try them out and decide that the blue one was definitely my favorite. Really excited for it to get here on Tuesday.
