I spoke to Apple today about the yellowing on the top of my screen and got the usual excellent service. They're sending out a replacement and will collect this one.
They actually offered me a refund and I briefly thought about getting a 5S, but then stuck with a replacement 5C.

So I've decided that I'm gonna swap out my case on every 20th of the month.
I picked up a green case for my 5c at launch,(seen earlier in this thread) I'm gonna go with pink or yellow next.

My mother, brother and I upgraded from our iphone 4's today via Best Buy's promotional thing with the $100 off. Sure we could have gotten a 5s for $100 rather than a "free" 5C, but my mom just needed the basics of text, calls and photos and didn't need the bells and whistles. My dad was coming up from a slider phone so the 5C was perfect for him as he probably wouldn't even use half the features on it anyway.
My brother and I are more techy and probably could have used the 5s. I certainly liked the improved camera specs and the fingerprint reader. But we both got 5C's. I was adamantly in the "gotta have the 5s" camp right after the keynote that introduced both phones, but the interval between saw my interest wane.
I LOVE the feel of the 5C. My only previous experience was the 4 that I was chained to the hip with for 3 years. In an otterbox case. So I didn't mind the "extra" weight or the more solid feel. It felt natural. And I was sold sold sold on the colors. Maybe I like gaudy. I have horses, and I accessorize their tack in turquoise for my gelding and pink for my mare. I certainly was a target audience for the 5C, given that.
And coming from the iphone 4, this was a huge upgrade for me. I haven't gotten to test the camera much yet, but the other thing that sold me on the 5C was the improved front camera. I'd missed the 5, the phone I would have liked to have, so in a way, I've got it anyway with some bells and whistles. Works for me!
We have a pink for Mom, yellow for Dad and my brother and I thumb-wrestled for the green and ended up deciding we both could get it anyway.
Happy camper here. I played my secret vice game (Simpsons Tapped Out) and was blown away at the graphic quality improvement.

As a 5S owner, these 5C's still look awesome to me. I wish there was a 5C with all the 5S features, I love me some Touch ID and 64-bit action.

Hey, no my 5s is stuck in China waiting for a flight out. It was shipped on the 18th but hasn't moved since. I am expecting delivery on the 24th. Just want this ordeal to be over. 5 weeks to get this phone is more than enough time !
Do you get the logic of worrying about your own got damn business? Don't understand why you come into a forum about the 5c which you've gone out of your way on multiple occasions to trash. So please explain that logic?

it seems like in this forum you can act like a douchebag and provoke people with no problems at all, as long as you dont resort to name calling. The blue color of the phone shows through the holes on the back.
The case prevents the glass of the phone from touching any surfaces that I set it down on.

The case fits perfectly, is very thin, adds very minimal but protective lay on table, and it feels great. I am not sure how the hard plastic ones feel, but the "soft feeling" colors feel excellent.
The case is more so for preventing every day scratches than adding significant drop protection but it does wrap around the corners a bit so it'll protect a light fall on the corners (the top and bottom are exposed)
I imagine this will be the case I use for the entirety of my 5c use. I had the same case for my iphone 4 for almost 3 years, so I am glad these were finally released.
I'll admit though, it's still no where near as nice as holding the naked 5c (whereas I preferred my iphone 4 in a case)

I have been through most iphones a 3G, a 4, a 4s a 5 and the iphone 5c is the only iphone that will not become hot like Mount Doom when playing a graphicaly intense game like Infinity Blade III.
Now dont get me wrong, the device gets warm, but it is nowhere near the extremely hot levels of iphone 4s and 5 i was using previously.
Even after long sessions of gaming, the device never becomes hot. And I dont think it is the plastic, since my 3Gs used to get really hot as well.
Now I dont know if all 5c users have noticed this, or if I am a rare case, but really really impressed by this. It is the first iphone that I purchase that doesnt get hot when gaming.

Noticed my first screen scratch today, must have gotten it in the last 24 hours. I wonder what caused it. Hmm. If I were to guess it was likely a coin in my pocket. I generally do my best to keep my keys/coins in a pocket separate from my phone, but sometimes I'll accidentally drop my phone into a pocket that has a few coins in it.

I dropped my 5C for the first time 2 weeks ago. I was grabbing my work phone and iPhone out of my pocket and succeeded, but then the 5C slipped out of my hand and hit the ground. Left a couple of knicks and killed any chance I had of exchanging for the white 5C @ Sprint.
