How long are your 5C's batteries lasting, i feel mines going fairly quick, I got up at 6:30 (UK) and have browsed twitter and sent a text and its at 99%? Suppose this isn't bad at the moment but I usually finish a day with about 10%

Is this normal?

How much do you use your phone?

Mine lasts a really long time for me. I can actually go about 2 days without having to charge and I use twitter, fml, text and songza app. I am a really light user so I guess that has something to do with my everlasting battery lol :)

I have bluetooth turned off and automatic background app refresh and updates turned off. I don't know what else to say!!!

Good luck.

To be honest its probably just me being paranoid! I use it a fair bit like Twitter, Facebook, texts, calls obviously bit of internet and have background refresh and bluetooth turned off also, probably just me haha!

I was all for going causeless, but after a couple of days and only half an hour in my pocket (nothing else with it) mine has a lot of light surface scratches on it and one deep one that you can feel. No idea how it got them and they're hard to see, but still a bit disappointing.

The top of my screen also has a yellow tinged line across the width and there's another fainter yellow line running from top to bottom on the right hand side. I thought it might be like the 4s and fade after a couple of days, but sadly not. :(

That's strange. I've used mine pretty heavily since launch. I have it in my pocket about 10 hours a day, or resting on a desk/table. I've also set it in my car cupholder, car GPS mount, etc.

It has a few surface scratches under direct light, which is to be expected under those conditions, but nothing noticeable in normal use.

Has anyone found a case similar to the Apple one without the holes?

Check your local Best Buy. They have a couple of cases like that one, maybe even better. I'm headed there in a couple of minutes to trade in my daughter phone for a couple of bucks and pick up a case.

The positivity on this thread is making me want to jump from my 4S to the 5c. I can't afford it now, but I'm just obsessed with the colors on this device. They're quite cool!

Question to 5c owners: Green or Blue or Yellow? Pink is girly, and White is too bland for my taste. I'm torn between these colors.

Really tempted to order a 5C instead of waiting for the 5S.

The 5C surprised me when I tried it out in store. Feels really solid and performs well. As far as I can tell, the only difference between the S and C (not including physical appearance) are: 0.2 aperture difference, A6(32bit) vs A7/M7 (64bit), touch id on 5S, burst and slow mo mode on 5S. Apart from these, the phones are pretty much the same as each other.

Either I buy the Space Grey 16GB 5S or White 16GB 5C. I think I'm going to spend another couple weeks before deciding. Leaning towards the 5C at the moment.

Regardless of which one you decide on... You'll be happy

So much for me spending another couple of weeks to decide...I'm going to place an order right now for a white 16gb 5c :D

Congratulations! I certainly love mine. I don't need something heavy duty, or the latest and greatest - I do occasional phoning and texting, checking emails now and then, simple gaming...mine works wonderfully for my needs. I love the form factor, but did put mine in a case. Just want it to stay beautifully green for the next couple of years.

BTW...with my somewhat simple usage, my battery lasts forever (well, almost). I had to really work to get it down below 20% to a discharge cycle...took me several days.

As just an basic iphone user, I couldn't ask for anything better

I have the white one and absolutely love it. I understand it's basically an iphone 5 with a plastic shell, but I liked the iphone 5 ... I just don't like the design of the 5/5s. As far as speed goes they are all three really fast. I look at it as a "tock" upgrade. The 5c looks and feels better to me.

I will probably upgrade to the 6 next year, but if the design doesn't change. ... I will have no issues sticking with my White 5c

My kid told me 5 kids in his grade showed off their new 5c today, surprisingly girls all went for the green and yellow, and the boy got the pink. Looks like the trend is the parents are buying 5s for themselves while buying 5c for their kids.

Same, I wouldn't say I use it for anything intensive so I think the 5C will be just great for me :) I usually keep my phone for 2 years so if it can last me that long I'll be well happy with it.

Can't wait to take delivery of it, so excited!

Thanks. During my search yesterday I came across the spigen neo hybrid. I ended up ordering it. Should have it tomorrow. I couldn't find a leather one that I liked...

Let me know what you think of the neo hybrid. I've been considering it

I am not too impressed with the Spigen Neo Hybrid. I believe they just slapped a 'c' on the case and are selling the 5/5s version. See how the volume switch is not even close to centered...

Other than that, the materials seem okay, but I wish the back provided more of a non slip type feel. It is definitely smoother and a little more slippery than I expected.

The case search continues...

That sucks...thanks for the update. The search continues for me as well.

This is the hardest phone to find a good case for. I had the Apple case and didn't like it... Now I'm just searching .., suggestions?

I ordered a 64GB iPhone 5s on launch day (4am MTN time) and was given an October 14th delivery date. While I was patiently waiting I happened by an Apple store and saw the 5c on display.

Once I saw the blue 5c in person and held it I was sold. I immediately canceled my online order, waited an hour for my upgrade eligibility to be reinstated and then purchased a Blue 32GB 5c. I have to admit, I really like the way the 5c feels and looks. I guess I'm tired of cold, neutral metal because the colors of the 5c just make me happy.

When I first saw the 5c cases by Apple I was a bit put off. At first they looked funny and I couldn't see myself using one. However, in lieu of going naked I decided to purchase a blue 5c case and give it a test drive. Once I installed the 5c case I have to admit, I really like the way the blue on blue looks.

So far I'm really happy with my decision to go with the 5c over the 5s. I can't help but laugh when I think that Apple could have gotten an extra $200 from me if they would have just planned better and had an adequate supply of 5s iPhones available at launch.

As a 5S owner, these 5C's still look awesome to me. I wish there was a 5C with all the 5S features, I love me some Touch ID and 64-bit action. :p

Congrats to those who bought a 5C! Hope you guys like them. :)
