I sold my 5 3 months ago for very good money and have been using my unlocked 3GS that I use for int'l travelling since then. That was an adjustment!
I got a 5s on release day again a Radio Shack and gave it to my sister as a gift. But I wanted a 5s so I called Walmart yesterday and the had both in stock.Having never held a 5c,I was impressed and liked it so much I decided to buy it instead of the 5s.And of course it was $45 as opposed to $199.
I did order an Otterbox Defender last night though.
The 5c is my 1st white iPhone and I like it.I sure wish they had more mature colors for us older folk though.A navy would have been nice.

Dear all,

Thanks for the great thread! I don't have an iPhone 5C yet, since I am unable to decide on a color. The only one that's out is the pink one. I would be great if you could post more photos and thoughts - there hasn't been that much activity here, lately.

I've been in my apple store checking on stock for the 5s and every time i've been there I try out the 5C...it's just such a nice little phone. It obviously weighs a bit more than the 5S but feels much better in my hands and maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me but the screen looks nicer too.

If I can't get a 5S by thursday then I'll just get a 5C instead.

Well after a short stint on Android I'm coming back to iOS ashamed I ever left :( Hopefully get a 5C this week although undecided on colour!

Certainly won't be pink though...

I've got the white iphone 5c with speck shell :)
its a nice speed bump and overall phone, compared to my old iphone 4 i had before. I'm more than happy with it!

Same here. White is gorgeous, the yellow sings to me, blue is a colour I usually go for and the lime coloured green one is also stranger appealing. HELP!!

I'm impressed with the battery life on my new 5C. Is much better than iPhone 5 had. Stats after first full charge and then letting it drain in normal use: standby 24 hours, usage 8 hours, 13 % battery left. Plenty enough for my use.

Since been offered a 4S for FREE! Needs a little TLC but have a friend who can fix it up like new...Think ill stick with that for the time being...Back to iOS :)

Bought this off Gazelle's eBay store this weekend and it just arrived today. Love the feel. Harkens back to the 3GS, but feels incredibly sturdy.

For how much? Was it new sealed?

$450 for 16GB, they have a 32gb green up for $490 now.

They don't do new sealed products, but they greatly underestimate a device's quality. Any product good or very good (you might even get lucky with their fair grading) will be pretty close to new.

I will be upgrading to a 5C when it is released in Dubai in a few days... looking forward to better battery life and more storage. Definitely need 32GB after running out of 16GB many times due to photos.

A few of my friends already have it and I love it. I am a fan of the colors and just want something new. Even if I stick with iOS... just didn't want an upgrade to 5s, might as well stick with the 5.
Although the 5C is heavier and a bit thicker, it really doesn't feel that way. I did a blind test on my friend who kept saying 5C is heavier, but she guessed wrong and surprised how little the difference was.

As for colors. I am not usually a pink girl, but I really liked the pink on the 5C. It has a bit of a coral look to it. The blue is nice, but never been a color I would own... I am going to go for the lime green. One of my favorite colors. I wish they had orange or red, it would have made my decision much easier as I keep going back and forth between pink and green.

Will post some pics when I get it!

Going to apple store on Saturday, to upgrade. Could anyone confirm if uk apple stores recycle your old device for vouchers to use against an upgrade? I'm sure I've read here they do this! :)

Do any of you use the 5C case made by Apple? I'm interested to hear how it is. J don't care for the holes on the back but it seems nice and keeps the phone slim and light.

My daughter uses one. I think it is great, it has a perfect fit, and protects well without adding unnecessary bulk.

I have Been immensely enjoying my white 5c for the last 3 weeks.

I bought my Mother a blue 5c today to replace her ailing android POS. Got her applecare + and a few cases too.

Was down on Wall Street yesterday and saw a surprising number of 5c's being used by what appeared to be professionals who were past the point of caring if someone thought they were "cheap" or something for choosing it against the 5s. As in they had more expensive lunches than the 5s. This doesn't bother me, but it will hopefully validate some of those here preoccupied with such notions. "It just works" is pure apple.

Picking mine up today

I've ordered the White iPhone 5c, 16GB. Picking it up today. I'm thinking of going case-less for a while. However I did notice that the drop tests published on some websites seem to show the 5c as more susceptible to screen damage compared to the 5s. (although these tests are not scientifically proven)
So I wonder if I should spend on getting a screen protector... or something more durable.
I'll post photos once I get the phone. The excitement is getting greater by the minute. :p
