iPhone 5c purchasers! Thoughts / pics in here!

The 5C is my first ever iPhone, so I've little to compare it to. But I'm happy with my purchase so far and I'm looking forward to playing with it.

I chose pink, which is actually more of a peach/apricot shade, and I've ordered a blue case, which I'm sure the purists will think is horribly garish combination. But I like fun colours. :)

The features I've explored so far seem to work well for me, and the phone feels 'quality' rather than a poor man's version. Solid. Substantial in the hand, not at all flimsy or plastic.

Perhaps I'll post a pic when I've got the case and I can display the mad colour combo in all its dubious glory.
 
I am an iPhone 5 owner (bought last November off-contract) and ordered the 5S last night because I have an upgrade sitting there but I have to say I think the 5C looks great! In fact, if I still had my 4S, I would be buying a 5C in blue or green and waiting for iPhone 6. What's not to like? Maybe it's plastic but it looks very solid and well-made with iPhone 5 internals. I really like the curved back! I think Apple could really increase their market share if they just lowered the price a bit.

The jury is still out for me on the 5S. I ordered it to try out the fingerprint scanner and improved camera but if I'm not really impressed, I will return it and go to a prepaid plan until the iPhone 6 arrives (hopefully with a bigger screen). I might even buy a Nexus 5 to play with instead. You could call me an Apple skeptic at this point regarding some of the decisions that have been made at Apple in the past few years but I have no criticisms for the 5C. I'm shaking my head at the people here who believe it's their place to diss the 5C and denigrate those who choose it over a 5S...

I got to hold a white 5c today while setting up one of my users Exchange accounts for him. I have to admit I really liked it. I had owned a 3G and then a 4 but went to the other side with an S3 last year. If I still had an upgrade waiting and was using my 4 today, I would have a hard time choosing between getting the higher spec'd 5s or the nicer looking 5c... It definitely is one of those times where it looks better in person than in pictures... not to mention it was pretty darn comftorable in the hand

That looks amazing!! Seriously gorgeous.

I was so tempted between yellow and blue and glad I went with blue - but that yellow!! Dayum.

Thanks for pics - looks sweet! Amazing build quality too, right?! :)

Hi mate, yes amazing build quality it really is, im over the moon with it and prefer it miles to my 5 cos i wont need a case on this!!!

Yellow is sweet bt that blue still looks great, at apple store in Newcastle tomorrow so looking forward to seeing a green

Another point this feels great in the hand, its more like ceramic than plastic!!

Yeah that's exactly how I would describe it, like ceramic.

Wait til you see the green! It's seriously tasty. I didn't like it from the promo pics but when I saw it today I was shocked at how nice it was. Even the 2 staff members in the store said that they couldn't believe how nice the green was and if they had to pick they'd choose green!

All's we need now are white, pink and green pics to complete the set! ;)
 
Looking good, folks!

I ordered my Space Gray 5s online this morning, but I must say, if the 5s was available with the 5c's plastic shell, that would have been my choice.

If the iPhone 5c had 5s specs, I'd be all over it. Apple's best-looking device.

Edit: Ha ha, looks like the above poster had the same thoughts.
 
I checked out the 5c today from the Apple store. Really impressed with the feel / build of it. My favorite colors were green and white

Yeah the green is lovely.

The white though - that was my least favourite of the bunch! This is why I like the fact there's a lot of choice though - it's all individual! :)

I've got the white 5C. It's very nice. They don't feel cheap at all. They actually feel premium. Like against high end Android phones with the exception of maybe the HTC One. They feel and run like a high end device.

please don't tell me the yellow stuff on these tissues is not what I think it is ;)

getting to know those little quirks of ios7 now
before you could block all anonymous callers by simply selecting the last anonymous call and put it on the block list - now apple disabled that feature

so I had to call my service provider to enable 'acr' (anonymous caller rejection) - some providers do it for free (like mine) other charge a fee

but why apple disabled this useful feature in the first place is beyond me
 
I was beyond impressed with how nice it looks and how great it feels to hold. It doesn't feel the slightest bit like a cheap plastic phone (Huawei, Samsung, take note!).

The colours are extremely vibrant and nice to look at, and iOS 7 really does compliment it perfectly.

Now I'm reconsidering my initial reaction to the white one! Looks great!

I don't think there is a bad colour choice to be honest!

Just the green and pink ones to come!

Seems everyone who bought the c has been really pleased with it! Good job Apple! :apple:
