Pics later but I got ahold of the white 16gb 5c this afternoon and I knew my choice of the 5c was going to be the right one after the keynote last week. Even more sure after playing with it for the last four hours.
This is not a cheap phone, at all. This is a premium item, full stop. This thing is going to fly off the shelves after people actually get a good look at it and hold it and get rid of those preconceived notions of what it is.
All of my local Best Buy's had a ton of these things in. Not surprising but I think that's going to change soon.

Yup, it is. More of a yellow cast than in a couple of my pictures...king of a warm lime, and what a joy to hold in the hand! Can't put it down...just want to fondle it

...but you know that screen protectors are a thing of the past? That's why they put this super-duper-glass on it - so we don't need these ugly buggers anymore

ill never get why people put there iphone screen glass on rocks and tiles and surfaces like that, not only in plenty of reviews but things like this too

same, i didnt know what to expect with the 5c build quality, its amazing. and it feels really good, dare i say it maybe slightly better then the 5s feel

I had a micro fibre cloth under mine. Not a chance it's going on a tile floor bare.

Went into Verizon around 12:30 and was 4th one on the list. Asked for a 32 and a 16 and got them both. They of course were out of white and gold, but had plenty of black and color. Got $200/piece for my 4s's. I forgot to back some stuff up, but NBD. Overall pretty Ez game. Really wasnt expecting any phones to be in stock, but there were. LOL at the people who stood in line?
People keep saying that about the premium thing. I think it's because we were all conditioned in to thinking it would be a cheap iphone in the months prior to the announcement. When it actually isn't, and is premium if it replaces the 5!
I would buy one in an instant if I could sell my five for a similar price. But I doubt I would get more than £300 for an iphone 5 with a scratch over the apple on the back! And it isn't worth spending an extra £150 on top of what I'd get from my 5.
I just want it though. Feels like a love letter to the 3G and I miss my 3G....

Just got my yellow 5C and this thing is one gorgeous phone! All you 5S snobs can thumb your nose all you want, but these things are incredible. Build quality looks superb and nothing beats black face with Yellow back in my book. All the other colors are sweet too though.
Besting in-the-hand-feeling phone too. You couldn't give me one of those hard-edged metal 5S phones after handling this one.
So a word to the 5S elitists: eat it. Well, that's two words...

Another white! I might be returning it for blue though.. the white is kind of boring (not planning on buying a case), but still nice!
I was planning on getting the 5s, but I like the feel and look of the 5c better. Even the guy who sold me the phone said he was reconsidering the 5s and might get the 5c instead, it's a great phone!

Waiting to get off work to get home to a yellow 5c. I really like the green, I hope the yellow looks just as good.

The first is a much better way to manage a Gmail account (and if you've got that many messages you're probably on Gmail). The second is like a machete that helps you remove emails you don't need en masse (Facebook notifications, mailing list crap...I was able to get rid of 8,000 emails in 30 minutes.
Yeah about that... haha. I've tried everything to get them to disappear. Marked as read, deleted account, re installed, turned phone off. Nothing works?!

Personally I think the 5C is a great phone, no matter the price. Nice looking, far better ergonomics than the 5S, and great for those who want some color.
In the short 30 minutes it took for me to buy the 5S my wife wanted from the AT&T store, I saw several people buying the sweet looking 5C.

I really like the white. I like that you can put any background wallpaper colour with it and it'd look fresh. Red, pink, green, blue, yellow - rock any one and it wouldn't look out of place with the white backing!
These really are little bundles of joy these phones! Who'd have thought!
I walked home from the store earlier to find it sitting in the stairwells. Blue 32GB. Upgrading from an iPhone 4 so it's pretty nice. Put the 4 into its original boxing with cord/headphones/etc then buried it!
