It's like a small club in here lol. Hey 5C'ers! (waves). Long story short I went from a 5 to 5C. I wanted green but I'm happy with blue as it was the only used one available. I don't know if my picture will show up but I bought a crappy mall kiosk bumper until my case-mate hula bumper comes in the mail :)

I'm a heavy mobile internet user, browsing the web and checking social apps on the way to/from work five days a week and find that I run out of my 1GB in the final week before my new allocation. I'm on O2 On & On just now, £37 per month for the unlimited calls & texts and 1GB of data.

Maybe come March the up front cost on the 5s will be lower but I won't hold my breath!

Wow that's pretty good mileage, I do use mine for iTunes Match and Sat Nav a lot though. My main goal with any contract is to just never go over my monthly payment which was why I coughed up a bit more at the beginning.

Either way. Good luck with your upgrade, whatever you choose be it a 5, 5c or 5S, the screen size alone is the best thing about it. I'd find it very hard to go back to a 4S.

I really like the feel of the Apple case for the 5C but I just don't know if I can get over those holes on the back...

It's great to see this thread will not die. All the proud 5C owners are great. I'm getting close to two months in with my white 5C and I have absolutely no regrets. I'm glad I chose this phone and didn't let Apple get me with another one of there "tock" upgrades. I didn't like the design of the 5/5s so I'm very happy

I quite agree! My son and daughter both got 5c's. I love mine...it does everything I need splendidly!

Only thing our family needs is a waterproof case. Son does water system and well work. I really wish a wider variety of case would become available.

They definitely need a wider selection of cases. It's one of my gripes. I don't like big thick cases though...

Just brought a White 16gb iPhone 5c today. Havent opened it yet!

Open it!! You know it makes sense! Make a coffee, sit down and relax and absorb the 5c's beautifulness! :)

(Why doesn't Tapatalk support iphone emoji's??

It was actually just this image that I saved to my phone and cropped to get the Squirtle section.

Welcome! :) not such a bad thing, I would have done the same. I'm mixed with an all over body case with the 5c. But whilst I appreciate the lovely blue i much prefer to know its protected and safe.

Yeah, don't get me wrong I have occasionally paid the £5 bolt on for an extra 750mb when my data does run out, my train journey would be unbearable without the internet! lol The most my bill has been in this contract including bolt ons is £45, but my wife goes a bit mental. "All that for a phone"?!?

I'm going to nip into the Apple store on the way to 5 a sides this morning and have another play around with the 5c and 5s. Just to torture myself that little bit more. :D

:) also got a white 5c. looks and feels perfect. :apple: far classier than i expected.
it's like a thicker, plastic ipod touch 5g (which has the best design, weight and thinness imo).

no need for a case. the 5s on the other hand would get scratched without a case immeadietly. make of that what u will.

Yea I've been thinking about picking a clear back case with shock protection border on the edges as a back up. Just something that shows off the back of the phone but also protects it from damage

Thanks for that Pokemon image! My favorite was squirtle but I love the green background so that's what I chose :)

I actually see tons of females with the pink 5C. Heck, I think I've seen more pink 5C's in person than 5S's.

I use a silver 5S personally, but my wife uses a blue 5C and I have to say I'm impressed with the build quality. I was skeptical about the plastic at first but Apple executed it well with the lacquer finish and other than it being slick as ice (until she got a pink Apple case for it) it feels like a "premium plastic" and not a cheap one. I prefer the sleek aluminum and new features of the 5S but if I had to pick a favourite colour for the 5C I'd say white.

After waiting and waiting, finally found it in stock on Friday. Sprint 32GB Blue iPhone 5c <3

Apple could make adverts from the photos in this thread haha I bought because of this thread when it started and if I hadn't I think the latest photo would have persuaded me!

A family member added me to their Verizon contract so I picked out a Yellow iPhone 5C 32GB. I still have to pay for the new line though. I know T-Mobile is cheaper but I wouldn't pay $650 for a phone especially after I got screwed on a iPhone 4 earlier this year (bought from Straight Talk for $450 but it was only 8GB so I quickly ran out of space so I tried selling it on eBay. To make a long story short I made $65 from gazelle. I know totally stupid.)

Anyways I bought a Yellow iPhone 5C 32GB and I can't wait for it to arrive. I've learned my lesson this time so I bought more space than I needed, right now that is.

But I do have a question about Verizon. Once my 2 years are up can I take it to T-Mobile? I have read that Verizon is CDMA with no sim cards and for a phone to use T-Mobile's GSM network you need to buy a sim card for it. Does this mean Verizon iPhones don't have a sim card slot?

Why would anyone want a 5C and why did Apple waste so much time making so many 5C IPhones when they could have been making sure that there were enough Gold 5S's?

Some people can't afford the 5s or don't need/want it. The 5c is pretty good in my opinion. My question is why didn't they just keep the 5 in stock instead of just killing it off?

This is mine now! Thank you!

So cute! He was always my favorite!

Wow.

Just took my mum into EE to upgrade her crappy Galaxy Ace and she chose the blue 5c.

It's a great, great piece of kit. Feels rock solid, yet is still really light. (Sorry if I'm probably repeating what everyone else has said - but it really is great!)

iOS 7 looks perfect on it, and the curved edges are definitely more comfortable to hold, if less premium than the 5/s.

All in all, she's very happy and I'm a tad jealous! :p

Same

It's like crocs for a phone. Woof.

I'm going caseless for now. If I have to dip into my AppleCare replacements, I'll get a case.

One of the final items that pushed me back into the 5c over the 5s was the fact that I felt it was usable caseless long-term. The 5s just felt so chintzy and fragile, and after seeing how bad the old 5's wore, it's pretty obvious that aluminum is a bad choice in its current impllimentaton
