Anyone using a spigen sgp tough case with this phone? Looking to get tough case as I would normally go with casemate tough. Not a fan of the design of it this time around so willing to try the spigen brand for a change :)
Any replies re this case greatly received.

I took the plunge £12.99 ain't too bad for the spigen tough case & protecting the phone. I'm so paranoid of dropping my phone lol

I'm at a month and a half in and I love my 5c. Very happy with the hardware, software, the entire package. I see more and more of these phones on the streets of NYC.

Good Evening, Mac Rumors!

My iPhone 5c just finished syncing all my music via iTunes (roughly 4 hours later) so I took a couple of quick pictures before I head off to bed.

Since there were no other case options available yet I went with one of Apple's, expecting it to just be a temporary solution...but man, it's surprisingly nice. So much so that I may eventually end up picking up a pink and yellow one as well, if not the entire lineup.
Link to the wallpaper please :D

Of course! Estimated delivery Saturday although occasionally these things arrive early!

Do it! What do you have at the moment?

I did it :D Just got back home from the store there. White 16GB

I had the iPhone 4S (white 32gb) but I sold it to get some money towards a new iPhone. Between selling the 4S and buying the 5C I was using a cheap old Nokia that I had lying about.

Time to unbox this thing now ;) excuse me!

Brilliant! Good to see a fellow 5c, I love it! I had thought about white, it was my 3rd choice behind green and blue. I went for blue. I didn't go for white as my ip4 was white and I wanted my phone to stand out when not in a case.

I always get a full protection case as I worry lol
Want to protect my shiny new toy!

Anyway enjoy! And post pics if you can! I will do so too when I get an opportunity.

Good feeling when you first unbox your new phone and the box the 5c comes in is brilliantly designed!

5c Yellow - complete surprise

Got home from work today and a mysterious parcel was waiting for me. An unknown has sent me a 5C in Yellow (favourite colour). Really happy, until I realized I can't complete the setup tonight as I don't have a nano SIM.

Off to the shop as soon as it opens tomorrow to get a new SIM so this bijou can be activated and loved. Not sure what my 3G is going to think about this.

I've a suspicion about the benefactor, but they are keeping their cards to their chest at the moment.

I'm really enjoying my 5C. Have it fully set up now. Just finished uploading all my music to iTunes Match. I subscribed to save myself a bit of cash. A 5C 16GB with iTunes Match cost me £491 but a 5C 32GB would have cost £550 so saved £59

If I were to get a 5C in another colour it would have been blue or green too! Not a fan of the yellow/pink :p I just prefer the clean look of the white. Reminds me of the 3GS.

I haven't got a case for my 5C. I think I might have to look into one cause I'm terrified I'll damage it. Going to have a look and see what ones are available :)

Yes. I wanted something that was very protective to my new iPhone 5S, not caring about how thick (Actually its not that big at all) it looked to others. It's a nice fit. If there was some rattle to the buttons on top (never noticed myself) as some have complained about, the case puts that issue to rest immediately.

Read the written reviews, and YouTube reviews as well. So I took the plunge, and bought one. No complaints at all. Looks very good, sturdy. Not too thick, and very protective for your investment.

I also got the screen protector, used the screen door method for applying it to the phone. Easy. Over all, I am pleased with this Spigen case. I can recommend this to you, but its up to you if you like it or not. I got the silver/black case

Going causeless: Is a screen protector necessary?

I'm quite decided on going case-less with my white iPhone 5c. I may go look for a sleeve.

Could you give me some opinions on whether a screen protector is necessary?

Thanks!

iPhone 5c purchasers! Thoughts / pics in here!

Apologies for poor quality, wife has a pants galaxy s3 mini :p

Could you please post photos of your phone with the case?

I got home to find an amazon delivery sat at my in laws. For the first time ever a delivery arrived a day early!! Not bad at all considering I ordered Tuesday I think! :)

I have to say I am very impressed! Slightly different texture to the casemate tough as it's not as grippy but I don't see that as a bad thing tbf. I chose the fun metal grey backing and it looks sweet! Pictures will come soon once I nab my wife's phone to take a sneak pic!

Ahh it brings me joy to see my thread still full of happy people. No arguments, just appreciation for the wonderful 5c.

It's been well over a month now and I am still loving mine. Everyone that sees me with it always asks me about it and most people cant believe how nice they are. I've convinced 2 people I work with to go with the C over the S - well, I say convinced, I mean they took one hold of the C and wanted one! :p

One girl went pink - which looks amazing in the flesh as you all probably know now, and another went blue like me. :D

Now all I wish is that I went with yellow so I could get me that Pikachu wallpaper to go with it like the guy who posted a few pages back. Best wallpaper ever! I took inspiration from it and got myself a Squirtle one! :D Satisfy the inner geek!

Keep posting guys, great to see so many happy people! :apple:

Some photos of mine.

I've taken some close up shots... don't have my tripod with me, so the aperture is really big. Sorry about the blurriness.

Has anyone here upgraded from a 4s to a 5c? How do you find the performance leap, if there is anything noticeable at all?

Basically my upgrade is due in March with O2 but the deal being offered on a new two year contract is pretty good. Only £29 up front for the 16GB model with unlimited calls/texts to all networks and double data, 2GB instead of 1GB, for the same £37 per month I am on now. Right now for the 5s for example O2 want £119 up front to go on the same £37 tariff with 1GB of data.

My "issue" is with the possible lack of longevity of the 5c. This will be my phone for the next two years, so I need to choose wisely. I've tried the 5c in my local Apple store and it's just so nice in the hand and for some reason the blue model is calling to me.

I was considering seeing if there are still stock of iPhone 5 available when my contract comes round, but I'm not overly keen on that idea due to the flaky coating on the black models.

It'll last 2 years no prob in my opinion. Had mine for a month now and I'm very impressed with it, I have more faith in my 5c than I did in my 5.

As for that network deal. Not bad but I don't know how anyone could go without unlimited data when using a smartphone.

I went with EE when my contract with O2 ended. Yeah it was £80 upfront for the phone but that's with 1000 minutes and unlimited texts and data for £32 inc. VAT on a T-mobile plan. I don't consider the upfront cost bad because had I stayed with O2 and paid what you're being offered, I'd probably end up paying £60+ on data charges over two years. Just something to think about. 1-2GB of data per month is nothing, average use will see it gone in a week or less...that's how they get you.

EDIT: As an upgrade from a 4S you will notice a pretty big difference.

I'm a heavy mobile internet user, browsing the web and checking social apps on the way to/from work five days a week and find that I run out of my 1GB in the final week before my new allocation. I'm on O2 On & On just now, £37 per month for the unlimited calls & texts and 1GB of data.

Maybe come March the up front cost on the 5s will be lower but I won't hold my breath!
