Sadly I didn't end up getting a 5c :( I am eligible for an upgrade but my phone company wants me to pay off my supertab first since i would basically be cancelling out of one contract so sign another. I can't afford to pay the $300+ to do that nor do I want to pay $85/mo for 1gb of data :(

After waiting and waiting, finally found it in stock on Friday. Sprint 32GB Blue iPhone 5c <3

(ignore the cat)

Rinzler! Love it.

When the 5C was first announced, I really wasn't behind it at all, but I played with one the other day and it's a really solid phone

Wow.

Just took my mum into EE to upgrade her crappy Galaxy Ace and she chose the blue 5c.

It's a great, great piece of kit. Feels rock solid, yet is still really light. (Sorry if I'm probably repeating what everyone else has said - but it really is great!)

iOS 7 looks perfect on it, and the curved edges are definitely more comfortable to hold, if less premium than the 5/s.

All in all, she's very happy and I'm a tad jealous! :p

Good choice of colour :p

I was the same until I walked into apple store and held one!

So...anyone else have the clicking screen?

Mine "clicks" on the bottom left corner.

It's been about 5 weeks since I discovered it, and it hasn't gotten worse or affected anything. I would take it to get replaced but there are no Apple stores that are relatively close, but it seems like it doesn't matter too much anyway.

Anyone else have the clicking? And living with it?

I sold my year old iPhone 5 for $420, and after paying up to $160 for last and this month bills, my cellular provider offered me an iPhone 5c for $200 and the iPhone 5s for $500. I obviously got the 5c, it's an incredible device. I got it in blue, the build quality it's amazing and has the best battery I ever had on any iPhone (customer since the 3GS, upgraded every year), I got 8 hours of usage in my first charge.

(I'm from Mexico, cellular providers offers little to no discounts or subsides)

Thank you for all the input on this thread, made my decision even easier.

Thinking about getting a 5c, but is the back kinda like a piano finish ? Meaning does it show scratches easily ?

Does regular iphone 5 cases work on the 5c ?

Not easily. Some light scratches will show in angled light, but they are nothing you can feel or see in any normal conditions. It is possible to scratch, but you have to do something deliberately wrong to do it. Normal use does not result in scratches. Scratches that do develop tend to "smooth out" with use. It doesn't chip and ding like a 5/ 5s.

No. 5c is It's own design. Plenty of excellent, inexpensive cases on amazon. Or toss a hard screen protector on it, and use it caseless.

My yellow one has some very very very light scratches on the back but you really have to go out of your way to see them.

I use mine caseless and it has been great, it's a very durable plastic.

I am tempted to check out an official Apple case at some point but £25 is a lot of money for a piece of silicon and I'm not sure which colour will go well with the yellow other than yellow.

I got mine today but as a precaution paid for the apple case in black to protect it when out and about. It sort of looks nice but not as nice as without it!

Next decision is whether or not to get a screen protector as the fingermarks seem worse than on my ip4 :)

It is a bit of a finger grease magnet.

I'm asking my parents to see if the 5C cases are any cheaper in duty free on their way home from the Middle East.

I know this may sound crazy and wasteful, but I like the 5c so much I would like to have another one in another color and switch between the two depending on my mood.

Does anyone know if I could buy another one unlocked and just move the SIM between the two at will depending on which I felt like using? The one I have already is on AT&T if that matters.

I think all it takes is moving the SIM card from one phone to the other on AT&T.

Been using my iPhone 5C 16GB Blue for 2 and a half days now.. Preeetty cool and a nice update from my iPhone 4 8GB.

I notice a minor clicking on the bottom left side of the screen, but it's only noticable if it's completly silent in my room, and I tap the screen harder there. Not a big deal right? ;)

I picked up a white 32GB 5c a month ago. It's my first ever smartphone and I'm loving it so far--it's quite an upgrade from my years-old dumbphone, that's for sure!

I chose it for a lot of the same reasons other people did, including it's (imo) great in-hand feel and the housing design. I know this is heresy to the 5/5s lovers out there, but I really didn't like the way the 5s felt at all. To me it felt light (almost too light) and fragile, like if I breathed on it wrong it'd break the thing. I also wasn't a fan of its angular design; the more rounded edges of the 5c feel nicer to me.

Personally I don't have a problem with the weight, but I agree the angular design just doesn't excite me these days. I'm so glad Apple decided to add more variety to the iphone lineup.

Awaiting my poetic atmosphere case using a glasses pouch till then. Love this phone though. Had a 4s, then went to android for a little bit (galaxy s4) then came crying back haha. Love love love this phone.

I have the white 5C. No screen click issues. Everything is solid. My only gripe is my screen has the interlacing issue, but it's very faint.

My first 5c was solidly built, but had a yellow screen and significant interlacing.

grooving this thread ... the 5C is just freakin loved

Meet Dr. Leonard McCoy. You can call him Bones.

My wife is getting a 5s so I decided to save some money and go with a 5c. Plus, I absolutely love the look and feel of the 5c.

Best photo matching the color as it is. The blue is very 'light' in this photo, which is how I remember seeing the phone in store. Other photos look too saturated imo. I call it baby blue... still not sure if I like it... it's so pale.

Not really but I feel bad for those who have this clicking issue. Mine is rock solid with no creaks or rattles. If they can manufacture mine to this standard then really they should all be the same.
