Speculation, fake photos, photoshop...
Good riddance... Something more interesting will soon be seen...

+1 for odd flash location, will be very annoying to hold the phone with the flash in that location, so you will be mainly taking portrait pictures/videos.
3D....how nice the Apple 3D implementation will be?

I believe that is legally required to have all the FCC branding on the back. Most phones don't have that because it is on the inside of the phone, usually behind the battery. Legally it is supposed to be visible to the user — but because you can't open up the iPhone, they have to put it somewhere on the back.
 
This is probably a clone ripoff where the user has no sense of western copyright laws. Alibaba is nutritious to list knock off products like this to survey for customer response.

Same. I'm guessing the iPhone 4S is going to be a major disappointment.
 
Seems to me that the phone posted is a fake because of the home button. Although nobody has confirmed whether or not it will be a new style of capacitance button (which would lay flat and change the symbol displayed on the home button) that potential style had a brightly lit ring around it to help outline the button. The problem with the proposed picture is that it clearly shows the button to be concave as it is with current iphones.

So it seems to me that whoever made up that case just based it off one of the debunked iPhone 5 photos and forgot to show some continuity when it came down to the home button design.
 
Meh. Still the BEST mockup I've seen for an iPhone is this.. Aluminum casing would be great! Maybe even make the Apple logo light up like the macbook pros.. That would be awesome :)

Though I would never use a case, the obvious choice now would be to have Domo Kun on the back of every iPhone :D

No one can seriously think the iPhone 5 will look anything like this. Look at it one more time and say it's not fake. The person who made this design has the iPhone 5 running iOS 3. That's probably not going to happen. The screen will also have to have a bezel. It is impossible not to. While the new flash design is possible I don't think :apple: will be dumb enough to put the flash so far away.

You do realize that this thread is about the case, not the phone mock-up inside of it, right? Typically these types of lower quality China cases come with a cardboard insert/phone mock-up as a placeholder inside, and these are rarely correct. I've gotten plenty of iPhone 4 cases with the cardboard placeholder inside being a picture of an iPhone 4 photoshopped with a much older version of iOS on it. Even gotten some with an iPhone shaped placeholder that showed an Android OS (mind you, this was inside a cheap case for an iPhone). So the image shown of the "phone" inside isn't what people are (or should be) looking at. It's the case with the new camera/flash/whatever opening that's important.
 
I thought there were some issues with light from the flash leaking into the camera on the white iphone.
Wouldnt this distance prevent it?

+ A5 ===> awesome update. Apple will not miss your sale. There are 10's of millions waiting for this update.

how could anyone think that is going to be the iphone 4, why would apple put sharp square edges and visible seams on their great design, it doesn't make any sense they would never do that... oh wait it isn't last year?

Larger screen without increasing form factor = near edge to edge screen, I'm sure if apple makes it it won't look ugly and soon many will clamour that all phones need edge to edge screen. And since they are already a bit over 300dpi they could increase the screen size a little without changing the resolution. The camera flash makes sense on this new design, get the flash further from the lens to prevent light leakage in pics(especially prevalent when using some 3rd party cases)

Relax it will be a great phone - faster and larger screen tO keep up with competition. Yes there is that word again ;)

Remember guys there were many macrumors members that thought the iPhone 4 leak was fake and look how that turned out!

Some swore never to buy it! "it has seams dammit!!!! Apple would never put seams in their products!"

What do u think?
 
Isn't it true that Apple has several prototypes that they test and then decide based upon a myriad of criteria which one to put into production. And if that is the case, no pun intended, then all these different rumors of the iPhone 5 actually be based on these varying prototypes. That being said, if the next iPhone is launching in Sept. nobody knows what the next one will look like, not even Apple, yet. Unless of course all this launch delay talk is BS and new iPhone will launch in June/July. One more thing, if the new iPhone is launching with a bigger screen I don't see how they will be able to seed iOS 5 to developers without divulging this info.

Now your sold and giddy like a girl and will most likely be waiting in line for hours for yours. ;)
