Screen size matters to a lot of people these days, So does the OS.

Firstly I must let you know I am apple through and through and have had an iPhones since day one and countless macs and iPads and still have and love them to bits, I have also never been inclined for a large screen phone or the Android OS.....

Recently while on holiday i Lost my iPhone, being without a phone and knowing I would get a replacement iPhone through work I was tempted to go out and buy myself a Note 2 or an S4 to see if the grass was greener, after a few days I caved and got the S4. What have I learned apart from the S4 and Androind OS is fantastic.

iOS need a major overhaul is it very old and tired, it works and works well but it has nothing on android, NOTHING AT ALL. (I have all my fav / needed daily apps and more new apps that would not be approved on Apple Store)

A larger screen size is also makes the iPhone seem like a Toy and something from the Past the 1920x1080 AMOLED display is gorgeous, battery life is superb, camera is superb, SD card option and replacable battery are a bonus.

Everything about it is an upgrade, the one minor is the build quality, it is by no means poor, I just miss aluminum...

I am a developer and there are some great new features for us in iOS 7 but to the longtime user there needs to be a change, new iPhone users prob love the UI and simplicity and have no issues as its fresh, I understand the if it is not broke don't fix it mentality but come on apple innovate again.

UPGRADE to a diff phone until Apple gives us a choice of a larger phone and REALLY improves the OS.

NOTE:
I am getting another iPhone, the 5S and will use both the 5S on iOS7 and S4 on Android daily.

we already know everything about the iphone, the keynote will only confirm these things

I don't think so. We didn't know about Siri, Passbook, or Maps before the keynote. Not the look or integration... At least on the software side, there are at least one or two surprises to both the phone and iOS at the keynote. ALl we ever know is specks but not the solution/implementation. There will still be a few surprises.

It was researched, tested, and proven by Consumer Reports (link). It was then acknowledged by Apple themselves.

You are in denial, Sir.

Speaking only for myself, it may have caused me to drop a bar or two but never in three years has it caused me to loose a call. I know it is anecdotal but the same is said by my wife (same model, purchased at the same time). I don't know anyone personally who has actually even brought it up other than someone who heard from someone who read an article. Maybe me and my circle are very lucky - but I doubt it.

Haha thanks, you live, and learn. Sometimes branching out is good though. But I'll definitely be glad to be back! :D

Yeah, see... you can tell who has experience and are looking at this from an objective manner. You want to hate on something, fine - everyone gets an opinion - but that opinion counts less if you haven't actually tried what you are bashing. I test out hardware for a large corporation for internal deployment while testing out the software we create and I get all manner of devices coming across my desk. You have to pick it up and use it for a while to know the strengths and weaknesses. A big screened phone "looks" great but I don't know how many times I have wanted to leave it behind when going for meetings or just out because of the bulk or having to hold it because it doesn't fit right in a pocket. Or gives you a rectangle shape bulging out of your pants. You shouldn't want to leave your phone behind for any other reason other than you don't want to be contacted.

By placing my little finger over the Wi-Fi/Cellular antennae gap, and without holding anywhere else on the phone, signal drops from 3 bars of 3G to 2-3 bars of cellular.

When I have my (freely delivered) bumper on my iPhone 4 I cannot make signal drop without completely smothering the phone. I've had the handset for nearing 3 years now, it's always been the same.

I have owned 3 Android phones in the past year trying to get the iPhone experience, and all but the Nexus have failed. And where the Nexus shined, the hardware was lacking. Can't wait to see what the Cupertino gang has been cooking up for us in September!

Do you really think that is funny? The USA is in the same situation (Assuming you're from the USA). You just haven't gotten round to getting your budget deficit and all those ridiculous personal credit card debts in check.

At least they are doing something about it.

Well I'm from Portugal. I do know what is going on. The real problem with the iPhone were is that costs more than most peoples salaries. But I also do know that the problem in Portugal is that the CE funds for development were badly spent (most went to some peoples pockets), and not to mention bad management.

So I was joking since nobody (in Portugal / Grece and more) these days cares about the iPhone/iPad whatever. Most people are trying to pay their homes and not get fired/bankrupt.

Now about the USA deficit that thing is BIG.
