Not immediately but I saw they took like $115 or so first then the $315 or so. I'm guessing the $115 was for the AppleCare and the Expedited Shipping and the $315 was for the 5S.
 
My credit card was also charged for full amount. There is a small chance that it has shipped but system is updating piecemeal. My understanding is that they need to ship before they can charge for whole amount (not authorize but actually charge).
 
Looks like I'll be pouring myself a large cup of tea.

FYI: Apple.com USA is now indicating that all iPhone 5s models in all colors and sizes will be shipped in 'October'

My card was charged but it's still "Pending". Any charges on Friday until about Tuesday will show as "Pending" due to it being the weekend. I've thought about trying to find it locally and canceling my order but I think that the hassle of my Sprint upgrade will get in the way (I ordered my 5S through Apple and they used my upgrade - trying to get it with my current upgrade while still canceling my Apple.com order might create a headache).

I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait.

Ordered 16GB Silver (kicking myself because I wanted gold but had a last minute bout of uncertainty and went with the old standby) at 3:01am, confirmation email at 3:03am. My dock and Red case have shipped for delivery on Tuesday the 24, but the phone is still processing. Whats pissing me off is that I would have gladly paid for expedited, overnight, or two day shipping but wasn't even given the option, so it says shipping via standard shipping for delivery between 9/30 and 10/2. I even called Apple CS and they told me everyone was getting standard shipping (a lie since I see people with expedited) and that they couldn't make ANY shipping changes (another lie as someone posted their order status where Apple had added expedited shipping and comped them a leather case). Regardless, the case and dock charged yesterday to my card, while the phone just charged today.

I was hoping they would offer overnight shipping and I would have GLADLY paid for it to have it at least on Saturday. I feel Apple should have offered this due to the fact that they did no pre-orders.

This a million times over. I would've happily paid whatever it would have cost to get this thing overnighted for Saturday delivery or Monday delivery. Instead, I have to wait over a week for the thing. I can totally understand not having pre-orders if stock is limited, but when it DOES go on sale, why not make it get into customers hands ASAP?

Because ... as stated over and over ... Apple wanted to have the "lines in front of the stores" experience.

If you want one NOW, visit a store. Otherwise you'll get one later.

With pre-orders people got the iPhone 5 at launch day WITHOUT waiting in line. Apple wanted to prevent that ...

Same. They took 99 out for apple care after an hour after I made my purchase. And than 323 about 6 pm or so later that day on Friday.
 
I'm so glad i got mine yesterday at my ATT&T store. I got the 16 GB Space Grey. That's ALL they got. :D

I called around this morning to see if anyone had anything not in grey. The AT&T store was out of all of them and my local Wally World didn't even get any in yet. :-(
 
Ordered at 3:02

I ordered 16GB T-Mobile iPhone 5s at 3:02 and got confirmation email at 3:03. The status still says PROCESSING ORDER. Has anyones T-Mobile order shipped yet from Apple.com:(
 
I was charged the full amount for an ATT 64GB Silver from the Apple Store this morning early.

But ever since yesterday, my estimated delivery date has been slipping.

Went from Sept 25 - 27, to Sept 26 - 30, to now Sept 27 - Oct 1.

Still showing Processing Items with ships in 1-3 days, shipping by 2 Business Days Expedited.

So things are happening, they're just happening in a bad direction.

Preparing for shipment...just updated

Ordered AT&T (through Apple Store) at 3:04 AM Friday EDT. Grey, 64g coming to Nothern VA.
 
I got a shipping notice for my case today and it shows a delivery date already. My 32gb silver is preparing for shipment and I think I will know when I will get it tomorrow. I am guessing Wednesday since I have two day shipping.
