Not immediately but I saw they took like $115 or so first then the $315 or so. I'm guessing the $115 was for the AppleCare and the Expedited Shipping and the $315 was for the 5S.
My credit card was also charged for full amount. There is a small chance that it has shipped but system is updating piecemeal. My understanding is that they need to ship before they can charge for whole amount (not authorize but actually charge).
Ordered 16GB Silver (kicking myself because I wanted gold but had a last minute bout of uncertainty and went with the old standby) at 3:01am, confirmation email at 3:03am. My dock and Red case have shipped for delivery on Tuesday the 24, but the phone is still processing. Whats pissing me off is that I would have gladly paid for expedited, overnight, or two day shipping but wasn't even given the option, so it says shipping via standard shipping for delivery between 9/30 and 10/2. I even called Apple CS and they told me everyone was getting standard shipping (a lie since I see people with expedited) and that they couldn't make ANY shipping changes (another lie as someone posted their order status where Apple had added expedited shipping and comped them a leather case). Regardless, the case and dock charged yesterday to my card, while the phone just charged today.
I was hoping they would offer overnight shipping and I would have GLADLY paid for it to have it at least on Saturday. I feel Apple should have offered this due to the fact that they did no pre-orders.
... , but when it DOES go on sale, why not make it get into customers hands ASAP?

I'm so glad i got mine yesterday at my ATT&T store. I got the 16 GB Space Grey. That's ALL they got.![]()
