also on a side note, i ordered 2 of these gold 32's ... the one i mentioned and another one. the second phone i got an order confirmation at 3:06, 4 minutes later and it said

Delivers: Oct 7 - Oct 10 by 2-3 Business Days

Mines been preparing for shipment since yesterday. Im waiting for the shipment email! Frustrating.
 
I ordered right at 3:00 through app. 64gb Gray. Still preparing for shipment. Tried the UPS trick but nothing. Looks like mine will ship a few days later :(
 
One of my phones shipped but the other is still preparing.

It's started to annoy me that the second one didn't ship yet.
 
shipping confirms seems pretty arbitrary. Tough to know as most of us ordered within first few minutes. So either databases have yet to update or we got screwed.
 
my Apple.Com delivery estimate is sept. 26th but my ups tracking estimate is sept. 24th for delivery. which date is more reliable? hoping the Tuesday date is when I get it !
 
Seems like the shift in charge of US orders works during the day (China Time).. I haven't seen anyone in the 1-3 day ship group receive a tracking number for hours.
 
Not sure what to make of this... I ordered prior to anyone else I've seen tracking info for (12:00 PDT - order was in prior to clock changing to 12:01 ad I had all my account setup for one-click)...

Ordered the TMO 64GB silver unlocked, and it authorized my card immediately, then charged it at 4pm friday night so thought it was progressing, and it went to Prepping for Ship at 7pm Friday night and it's been sitting in that state for 26 hours straight now.

No phone number works for me...
 
VZW 32GB Gold ordered via the Apple Store App right when orders went live is still stuck in "Preparing to Ship" status. I even chose Expedited Shipping for $10, which I will be requesting a refund for once my phone ships.

Why would you request shipping refund?
Processing and shipping prep should be same regardless of shipping method. Expedited shipping just means once it does ship, it ships in a different (faster) method then standard shipping.

Say standard shipping is 5 days, expedited might be 2 or 3 days. But the time they get shipped out would be the same. Now if you ships on Monday and mine ships on Monday. And we both live in the same city in Indiana and we get our phones on Friday or Monday at the same time, then yes, complain becuase that means you expedited did nothing. But if you get it on wens, whereas I wait till Friday. Then huzzah! You win!

Everyone in the first batch is getting expedited UPS shipping.

I ordered from Verizon at around 12:15am on the 20th.

My first order (upgrade of two existing phones) has shipped and will arrive on the 25th.

My second order, placed at the same time but Verizon processed it separately, was a new line. It has yet to ship.

^This is why I'm requesting my $10 back. If paying $10 more for expedited shipping doesn't get it here any sooner, then what good is it?
