I was wrong it is 7-10 lead time. I had express checkout on and had the transaction finished in seconds. We apparently didn't get ANY stock. Really happy I'm selling my current phone on ebay!
Used the app, got in seconds before 0101hrs Mountain Time and 7-10 days shipping here too.

I meant in regards to the US store. Many people are getting their devices in 1-3 days there. With as fast as some of us got online, I don't think we had near the same shipping supply.
Mine also says 7-10. Ordered online.

That's what I am saying. I thought we would have had enough stock to support about 3-5 minutes of early shipping. this is stupid.
Agree, at 7:00AM or so, I guess it will still show 7-10 days
But I notice the gold is push back in October (did not show shipping days anymore)
I guess then 1-3 days is only for US, that sucks

Not really.. other posts suggest retail stores also have limited 5S.

Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with waiting a couple of weeks for my Silver 5S to arrive.
I just popped into the Chinook store here in Calgary and there were about a dozen or so people still in line and the employee said they have a "healthy" stock of Space Grey. No silver or gold at Chinook.
Interested what the deal is over at Market Mall although I imagine it's more of the same.

Did anyone else's *delivery* date slip back a few extra days, AFTER they ordered?
I ordered at 3:00 am, and my order processing email says it ships in 7-10 business days, and delivers October 7 - 10 (standard shipping). But now, if I check apple.com/orderstatus, it still says it ships in 7-10 business days, but it will arrive October 9 - 15. :/

Yup! Originally was supposed to be delivered October 6th-10th and now it's slipped to October 10th-16th
My order also slipped. I ordered a 64 gb Space Grey at exactly 3:00 am and received confirmation at 3:01 am. Was surprised to see 7-10 day shipping and Oct 7-10 delivery. Disappointed Canada was allocated no stock for on-line sales.
I called Apple yesterday and got them to add expedited shipping which moved the delivery up to Oct 4-9.
I checked this morning and it now says Oct 8-11 expedited. So time has slipped. Disappointed
