Would love to see what that would look like with iOS 7.

Not too shabby...

Does anyone else find it odd that someone named "Ming-Chi Kuo" uses the word "reckon" in an analyst statement?

From Hong Kong? Learned UK English?

It's a normal thing to say here, although more often heard in playgrounds.

'I reckon my Android is better than your iPhone.'

A lot of people though, would rather have all their stuff on the iPhone. This way its always there and there is no reliance on needing to have an Internet connection to access your Cloud based storage.

For Cloud storage to work, we need to have fast mobile connections, and also generous data allowances. And in some countries this isn't the case.
Exactly.
Where I live 3G is a joke (and we'll have 4G who knows when), so I can see that 128 GB option as what I've been waiting for since 2009, in order to fit more of my huge music library.

Luckily where I live 3G has improved over the last couple of years, but like you I don't know when 4G will be available in my area, and by the looks of some of the 4G tariffs, there on the pricey side at present.

The only cloud based storage, services I use are, Dropbox (which I use with the 1Password app for to keep in sync my passwords from my iMac, iPhone, iPad). And iCloud, for keeping in sync Notes, Contacts, Photos etc.

But has far as relying on a Cloud based storage for any sort of large storage capacity, then it isn't for me, has I don't have either enough data allowance to access it or fast enough speeds for to download/access it.

For someone who has masses of music, photos etc, a 128 GB iPhone would be ideal.

Completely agree.

It's easy to generalize, because I'm aware that most (?) urban areas in say, the US have great coverage and prices + speed, so it seems almost like a "joke" that not everybody has that.

No way. It'll be closer to (on contract):

5C 8GB $0
5C 16GB $99
5S 32GB $199
5S 64GB $299
5S 128GB $399

Personally, I'm thinking more like...

5C - 16GB $0
5C - 32GB $99

5S - 32GB $199
5S - 64GB $299
5S - 128GB $399

I'm also hoping that this means Apple will dump the 16GB iPad and shift the price of the 128 GB iPad down to the current 64 GB price point so that it looks like this...

(Wi-Fi Models)
iPad5 - 32GB $499
iPad5 - 64GB $599
iPad5 - 128GB $699
iPad5 - 256GB $799

Looks like the color might be achieved through a Liquid Metal amalgam rather than anodized aluminum. This would allow them to polish the chamfered edge.
