iPhone 6/6 Plus Carphone Warehouse order thread

I just got both a text and an email yesterday saying that my order had been dispatched.
Since then nothing, but I was given a tracking ID on that email so have been using that on the DPD website.
Got an email this morning saying iPhone would be shipped soon with DPD and a link to track it.
Tracking hadn't been working all morning which had started to make me wonder if I wasn't going to get delivery tomorrow, but just checked and it's updated now, says 'Parcel collected from sender, estimated delivery date Friday 19th September'.
Happy days!!!

Anyone who has their phone delivered to a store, mine says that it's been delivered, do you get a notification saying it's ready to be collected?
Or should I just plan on going in on Friday irregardless?

I saw someone getting the iPhone 6 today from cpw. I think if you already got a text message or email that the phone has been delivered to the store, you should go there to pick it up today.

Hi,
I ordered my 6 Plus 64GB in Silver on release day from CPW, got my confirmation email.
Then got an email yesterday saying that it would be dispatching soon.
I then get a text today saying that my iPhone 6 64GB Silver has been dispatched?!
So I rang and asked what was going on, as my order confirmation clearly says the Plus version and he said that is definitely says Plus !
I'm not convinced however!, what did other peoples texts say?

my text msg just said "your order XXXXXXXX has been dispatched to your chosen store......." not mentioned the model number or Rams etc....
but when I popped in to the store, they said the phone hasn't arrived yet and ask me to wait until I have the email confirmation......hummmm

I want to believe what they tell me on the phone, but I'm not convinced the text will be wrong. Who knows.
If it its wrong then its too late to change it anyway as they are probably all out of stock, so whatever way I'm *********!

just got in contact with CPW and they have told me i am mostly likely to receive mine in 3-4 weeks and i preordered mine midday Friday! ffs!!
so roll on the 13 October
until then i'll use my mums old Samsung something! that'll teach me to sell my iphone 5 early and expect the new iphone to be sent to me on or around the release date

Bad luck, that's not good, what colour did you order? as CPW lead times suggest that the black has been ordered most.
I ordered the silver at about 10am on the Friday.

Even so, at mid day I would have expected you to get the first batch. You must have missed out by minutes.

I ordered mine about 9:30 and have apparently missed out on the first batch even though the website displayed it as release day delivery for a good couple of hours after my order went through.
Space grey 128gb iPhone plus via the website.
Either they have received a lot less stock then expected or they haven't been processing orders in the same order they were received.
I just got a text saying it has been despatched to my local store, so guess I can pickup tomorrow. Very happy
O2 also appear to be unable to fulfil the 128gb Plus orders they received last Friday morning so appears that Apple have under stocked that particularly model (Apple online store sold out of the 128 plus very quickly, much faster then any of the other models).
