To switch or not to switch

I ordered the 6+ 64GB SG on 9/15. Is it worth calling to make the switch to the 128GB 6+? If that is the case I will do that now. If I would have known the 64GB would be a point of friction I would have just ordered the 128GB in the first place

I ordered 128GB on 9/15 and I have not gotten it either. I think someone said if you change its like a new order so you would go back in line.

I will PM my account info so your lovely daughter could get me a Plus lol

It's amazing, I'm in Austin, Tx and some Sprint stores do have them.. When she left Sprint Sunday , they had a few 6 and 6 plus.

----------

It's really crazy, with the 5s, everyone wanted gold, so they were hard to find. With the 6+ it seems a lot of people are waiting on space gray. I would've thought the space gray would've been the easiest to find, but nope.

I am also surprise that the Space Gray is THE most popular color to get. I figured the Silver or the Gold will be a top favorite but black on black works for others. Definitely with this case #####

SPRINT sucks i know a friend of mine ordered from the apple store for att a week after my order for sprint through the sprint store and he just got his tracking info email this morning. SAME PHONE SAME COLOR SAME GB only difference was the carrier. Ive seen online how sprint is the artier thats getting theirs the latest, So China ATT and Verizon will get theirs before ours WAY TO GO SPRINT! lol

There are only 2 variants of the 6 plus here in the US... One for sprint, and the other works for all three other major carriers. Because Sprint has a slightly different setup, it will of course take longer. And since Sprint is not Verizon or AT&T, they will always have longer time frames. Get over it or switch carriers, man. Sprint says 4-6 weeks for a reason. Please stop complaining unless you have passed the 6 week quoted wait time. I have ordered an iPhone from Sprint.com for three straight years, and all three times the device arrived more than a week earlier than forecasted.

Thank you for your comment but just like you believed it was okay for you to enter this forum and express your opinion, others felt the same way. In regards to your comment, I have been with Sprint for over 15 years and until 2012 i upgraded my phone every year and I have never experienced this type of disfunction regarding the purchase of a phone. Their "global demand" robo answers along with the fact that many on here have already been charged for their phones have undoubtedly lead to all this frustration. We are here to support each other and provide information to each other that Sprint is unable or unwilling to share. If you feel that you cannot add productive dialogue to the conversation, please feel just as free to not read and not post comments.

Thank You!!!!!

So you've been with Sprint for 15 years? So you must have forgotten that the same problems happened with the 5s, and the 5, and the 4s. Seriously, it's no different than previous years. Any item you order over the Internet you pay for first, and then wait for it to be delivered. Sprint has been nothing but straightforward with their timeframes, which they get from Apple. When you ordered, you knew how long it may take, and therefore you really have no reason to complain, unless it extends past six weeks. Sorry you don't like my opinion.

----------

And what information are YOU providing??? If Sprint is not giving out any information, then anything you say is not information, at least not accurate information. I am impatient too, but I'm not going to bash companies because of it. What do you think Sprint gains by not giving out information? Nothing! They have no information to give out. They tell you what Apple tells them.

With the 4S I walked into a Best Buy store within days and walked out with a phone. With the 5 I walked into a sprint store 2 weeks later when I was eligible and walked out with the phone. Prople are providing more information and insight then your sarcastic comments regarding "just get over it" which makes you sound more like an employer for them. And no when you order an item over the Internet they may confirm the money is there via a pre-authorization but you are not charged for goods until they are shipped. Finally once again you proved my point that you are unable to provide anything constructive.

Everyone else, I apologize for bringing this "argument" into the forum that prior to this has been very well managed.

This is a forum for people to express their opinions, not argue because they don't like said opinions. It's a shame to look here for some information, only to have to read somebody's post that is just an argument. And then they think that because they apologize for bringing an "argument" into the forum, it's all good. talk about hypocritical.

Ordered 3 IPhone 6+s 64 gb yesterday on the phone with sprint business, estimate is 4-6 weeks for the 6+. Also ordered one iphone 6 16gb, shipped next day. lol. I was tempted to switch to a 6 just to get it earlier but would not want to regret it so I stuck with the 64GB. hey atleast ill get to look at my dads Iphone 6 while i wait 4-6 weeks for my 6+.

Good luck to you NewToMac11. I ordered my iPhone 6+ 64GB SG on 9/12 and am still waiting! I don't trust Sprint to get my phone here in under 3 months at this point.

Thanks to everyone who is keeping the google docs list updated and organized. People who haven't already added their order information to the list, please do so at the link below:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1R3xBorJKF4m13RJcSst1YuaNhU9kpqn5gmFiE14jgAU/edit?usp=sharing

If you have received your phone or received your tracking number, please update the information as well.

I was just looking at the sheet and it appears that 35 people should be happy next week IF (and that is a big IF) Sprint holds true to their 4-6 week time frame because next Friday according to my calculations is week 6 for 35 people on that list.

Maybe Sprint finally ordered some phones and we will get ours! YA RIGHT!!!

Wouldn't that mean that 35 ppl ordered on the 12th for them to get theres by next Friday (in 6 weeks)? Im number 19 on the list and next Friday isn't week 6 for me... JS.

Are you counting the week you ordered in? Maybe I should have cut it off at Wednesday of the week you ordered in but still my number is pretty close.

My whole point is that unless Sprint is getting like 500,000 phones in within the next few days they are NOT going to be getting that list of people their phones in 6 weeks!

No i don't count that initial order week, idk i hope Sprint comes through because I'm a new customer and this isn't a great start to a 2 yr "relationship" lol, and now I'm hearing (seeing) all kinds of connection issues (LTE) for the iPhone 6 and 6 plus. How Sprint is giving folks the runaround "its the towers and they are updating".. IDK seems in my area there no LTE just 1-2 bars of worthless 3G. Sprint needs to do something and FAST.

Unable to Cancel Order

Interestingly, I was unable to cancel my order yesterday because the sprint rep said the phone is "in the US warehouse and processing".

While I know this is a pre-order thread, I placed my order on 9/21 for a gold 6+ 64gb. I am porting a number as well (keep note). I kept a tab with my local sprint stores 6+ stock in hopes I may be able to get one prior to the nebulous 4-6 week wait period that has not changed updates on the sprint website. Low and behold, 3 arrived down the street from me yesterday, so I rushed over to get one. When I was in the process of checking out and purchasing a 6+, the cashier was unable to finalize the process because of the pending order. This was likely due the order attached to the phone line being ported.

So when we got ahold of the main CS rep she stated my phone is currently in a warehouse in the USA and because it is being processed they are unable to cancel the order. When I asked for an ETA, tracking number, or why the website still shows 4-6 weeks until deliver she was unable to give an answer.

First skeptical experience i've had with sprint's customer service so I hope they will update my order with a tracking number in the next week!

Received my 6 plus on 10/2. Have not had one problem with lte connectivity. It's fast and reliable just about everywhere I use it. It's significantly faster than my home wifi

I'm 30 miles east of portland, Oregon. I had similar problems with my iPhone 5, but after a couple months Sprint completed the network in my area and it's been great ever since. I even get lte in the boonies( although it's not as fast). I hope you have a good experience. Lte is awesome, provided it works properly.
