iPhone For Life plans are not eligible for discounts.
Are they still charging the $10 premium data fee on this?

Speaking of extra info... I had to stop at a Sprint store today, as I was going to go ahead with the buyback program, and had decided to stop in at this brand new (official, not authorized retailer) Sprint store that had just opened up. I approached the guy at the service counter where he greeted me, and I began explaining my situation.
Me:"Hi, I preordered the iPhone 6 so when I get it on Friday I want-"
He cut me off right there.
Him:"No you won't."
Me:"I'm sorry?"
Him:"The 6 ships on Friday. You won't get it on Friday."
Me:"Actually I preordered it on the Sprint site and it says it's possible I'll get it Friday."
Him:"Yeah if you ordered from the Sprint site you won't be getting it until next week."
Not wanting to argue this any further and waste more of my time, I just agreed with him and continued. Turns out that store wasn't doing the buyback thing. At least we know for sure that no preorders will be delivered on Friday!
It's one thing to be clueless about what's going on in your company, but to spread false info like that when I didn't even request it... well, that's Sprint for ya!

How can they do a review when they haven't had the phone for a week? This is more of a first impressions or should be at least.

Whoa.. Sounds like that guy just wanted you to buy an android device. Lol jk
Seriously.. I would have said.. So sprint is lying to me about trying to get it to me by the 19th?
I would not put too much faith into what you were told by this guy.
Nope, they ditched that as well.
A week?!? Which reviewer claimed that? Because IF that's true then it's pretty crazy that these same people are live blogging the reveal of a product they already have. Most professional review sites have had both models for over a week. One reviewer even stated so.
Well it appears it's that time for the "my order" portion of sprint.com to go down for maintenance.
Here's to hoping it comes back up with updated and good news for our orders!

So I've pretty much accepted that many iPhone 6 orders have shipped, but no tracking details are being provided yet. Is anyone else on the same page? I mean if any of these are going to arrive on the 19th then they must have already started shipping.
I looked back at the iPhone 5 Sprint preorder forum and saw that many people didn't get their Tracking info until the day that their phone arrived. I suspect this time around things are going quite the same.
Okay, I'm seeing a lot of the same stuff over and over...let's reiterate:
1. I pre-ordered an Iphone 6 -- Yes, you'll prob get yours on 9/19. Joy.
2. I pre-ordered an Iphone 6+ -- Yeah, nobody knows. Sprint don't know, Apple don't know, Reddit don't know, Jesus don't know.
3. The Myorder Sprint site is down for maintenance! -- It does this every night, and it doesn't mean shipping info for the 6+ will change after it does go back up.
4. I'm getting a "your order is in the warehouse blah blah blah...up to 3 weeks" message -- Yes every early 6+ order thus far is attached to this generic message.
5. "I just {spoke to/chatted with/called a} {sprint store/online csr/customer service} and they {assured me/definitely said/was confident that}.... -- See #2 above.
Okay, I wasn't attacking you. I was just asking because you claimed "most major reviewers" but, outside of Apple's buddies Pogue or the WSJ, then I was curious who else.A news publication/site that's called "The Wallstreet Journal"
"After using both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus for a week, I can report that Apple has successfully addressed its size deficiency, and much more. The $199 (with contract) iPhone 6 packs a 4.7-inch screen, big enough to get down to business, into the most comfortable smartphone I've ever held. And while the iPhone 6 Plus feels too big for my taste, for $100 more its 5.5-inch screen offers an option for road warriors who don't want to carry a tablet."
That's from their write up. As I stated they are under a time limited NDA/Embargo that states they cannot post or publish info regarding their time with the devices until a predetermined day and time established by Apple.
As I have also stated this isn't new. Apple does this with every major device and computer that I can think of after they've been officially revealed but prior to their public release. No everyone lives near an Apple Store and the reviews help people make a buying decision.
Does anyone else see the total cost of their preorder as a negative balance on the main My Account page?
How about you all stop posting "no change in my pre order status" and wait and actually post when there is a change or update?
