The problem is, you could have ordered on Day 1, and had your order delayed depending on the model (the GB and the color). Someone could have ordered a 64gb + model on the 13th, and theoretically have gotten it before your 16gb + on the 12th.

I think a common factor I've seen is that the 16gb + Space Grays were severely under supplied. I keep kicking myself for going with 16gb.


Oh, I won't dispute that the SG color in general, but it seems especially the 16gb, is in short supply. At least judging by in here, almost everyone waiting for their phone is waiting for gray one.

My point was the neighbor's wife's phone I seriously doubt was an actual +. The others I could have been dependent on color and size but if the neighbor's wife's phone is really a 6+ that's the first information about a 15th order date I've seen, and haven't seen anything about 14th order dates and only a few 13th order dates.
 
you got an email? lol I have yet to receive an email for my gold iPhone and it was updated with the tracking number between 9:30 and 10:00 on friday still no word though on my gray :(

I ordered 2 silver iPhone 6's on 9/12 and I have already received them friday. I am waiting on the email for my gold iPhone 6 plus I ordered 9/13

I'm trying to figure out why Waifu's order number is over 2.5 billion numbers different than everyone else's. I mean, mine's 700,000 different but I also ordered 4 days after you guys did.

That is only a 3,000 number difference in the order. Is it that far fetched my order is 3,000 before or after someone? Unless I'm misunderstanding how these are read. Also, I ordered over the phone from Sprint (not sure if that impacts things). Not seeing the billion difference you are seeing.
 
The orders mentioned earlier are using the first six (6) numbers from the order #. For example, if the order # is oy-shso-123456789, everyone is using 123456.

Strike that, everyone is using the first 5 numbers - in the example, that would be 12345.

I never even got an email lol. I pulled my number from my billing, since it was the only # I saw that matched others #s. I have like an actual order number itself, but it starts with DM60

That seems a lot different then # the bulk of the list has, most of them start in the 7's. I ordered mine 10am PST over the phone. A lot of people have something like: 75054. Doesn't make sense that mine is 16535, or does it?

Phone orders are different than online orders, and in store orders are different too.

Mine is oy-shso-75120XXXX so from the earliest ones reported (in the 75045 range) mine is 650,000-some-odd numbers later --- BUT I also ordered mine after 4pm on Tuesday the 16th so that sounds about right with the 6 and 6+ preorder going on.

I made an instore order for delivery to the store on the 12th at 10am eastern. Nobody can tell me anything about my 6+ SG 64g and it's really getting frustrating. I can't even get the store to pick up the phone to give me an update.

Tracking info should include "Awaiting shipment" or at the very least "Processing"

Not:

"We're sorry; the number you entered did not match our records."

WTF?

You pay for something that is highly anticipated, many days in advance, and the system acts like it never happened?

Even worse, no one, at any level, can give you any reassurance no explanation.

Total and complete fail on Sprint's part.

They don't know. I just talked to one who said they had no idea why I didn't receive information yet because I preordered. I didn't go into detail when I ordered or any of that, I was just calling for availability and the girl said, "well if you preordered you should have gotten it."

Moral of the story: the stores do not know anything about time frames and customer service usually knows less.

I also placed my order through a Sprint corporate store for the iPhone 6 plus, 64 GB, gold. And was told it would be delayed between 4-6 weeks and none of the stores received any in on release day ❗️ So I guess you have to wait like all of us or cancel your order ❗️
 
The 4-6 week estimate is a just a generic umbrella estimate. Customer Service is told to tell everyone this, because they literally have no idea when we will get our phones. Could be next week. Could be 3 weeks. Could be 6-8 weeks. That's why I'm so pissed they charged me the full amount. Now I don't have money to go find another way to get a phone. I could cancel my order, but that will take 3-5 days to get my money back. So I'll give them another 7 days.

Even more ******, that apple stores still have 6 + units for Sprint. I get that Apple stores take priority here. But when you got carriers that are so under-supplied they can't even fill day 1 pre-orders, Apple really needs to start shifting allocation to these people (especially since we already paid). This is BS.

I think I'll be cancelling at this rate, nobody at Sprint can tell me anything and it's starting to look like 4 - 6 weeks from now they're gonna say "whoopsie, we entered your order incorrectly" or something equally infuriating.

I'm also annoyed that by the time it shows up (if it ever does) the trade in value on my 5s will be lower than the $351 they quoted me.

Don't blame you. This whole thing has been handled very poorly. I wouldn't have been so mad if they didn't fully charge us. Terrible customer service. No information whatsoever. No one can tell us anything. All while other people are able to just stroll in and get their phones. F this so much.
 
Damn. This is being handled horribly. I went in to the Sprint Store and tried to cancel my order an get the 128 6. They said I could. Grabbed the phone and put in all the info etc but eventually could not cancel my preorder because there is no serial # attached to my order yet. There was no way around it. So yeah, they can't even cancel your orders.
