The Plus simply is just too tall. The more I see the Plus in pictures and videos the more unwieldy it looks. Those bezels definitely needed to be smaller. How was Samsung able to fit a bigger screen and a stylus in a more compact and attractive package? Still want to see this in person though.
The iPhone 6+ paradox: so large you need a purse to carry it, but a woman's hands are too small to use it one handed. :p

We'll, if this comes with only 1gb I am only going to buy two. Apple is doomed!

i get a cramp in my hand just by looking at the video of the iPhone 6+ lol it is already happening on my 4.7 Nexus when i am typing or generally using it in bed. guess i will go for the regular 6 if i ever decide to upgrade.

i initially wanted to go "black" again after owning the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 in white / silver but now i am not sure anymore. the black iphone 6+ looks kinda boring on the back. Might even go gold next time, looks kinda cool and more high quality

"Hey guys, we've got a hands on of the iphone 6. By the way, check out these cases from amazon, this one is transparent, this one is black, this one is gold..."

"Hey guys, check out this iPhone 6 plus. I know you really want to know how many GB of ram it has but let's not show you even though I could. Thanks for watching, and remember, buy some cases!"

Something is fishy

Why the iphone 6 shown in the video has 6 rows of apps, but the one showing on the Apple site shows 7 rows?! am I missing anything?!

Not sure if somebody else noticed that in these videos the screen on the 6 shows 6 rows of icons, not 7 as the promo stills suggest.
In this case even the 6 should show larger icons (and text?) than the previous generations.

Originally, ordered the iPhone 6 Plus. However, after playing with my friends' S3/S4/S5 devices, I cancelled and ordered the 6. After seeing these videos, I know I made the right decision.

If the iPhone 6 Plus wasn't so damn tall, it may have won me over completely. Maybe.

Came here with the same question, wondering the same thing.
So the 4.7" only has 6 rows and the 5.5" has 7? I must have been looking at the promo pics all wrong this whole week.. EDIT: No, apple.com clearly shows room for 7 rows for each of the 6 models. Confusion.

Edit: Solved -
"Display Zoom

Now there are more ways to see your display. Standard view lets you see more of your apps. Or activate Display Zoom to see them — and all your content — even bigger."

I've confidently ordered the iPhone 6 Plus. After looking at these two videos, I know I made the right decision. The iPhone 6 looks underwhelming compared to the iPhone 6 Plus.

You try too hard to justify your purchase. The 6 is definitely more manageable and will be more comfortable to hold.

I have to admit my own trepidation about its size. But in the end, the extra battery life, plus the landscape view make me almost confident that The Plus will be right for me. I am hoping to replace my iPad mini for use during the day. then I may upgrade my iPad with Retina Display. To my surprise, the mini has become my go-to iOs device even though it's only 16gb and wifi only.

Why is it impractical? I've seen a couple reviews saying how great it is and will become second nature you won't even think about it.

With the 5s most of us had already gotten used to "shuffling" the phone up and down our hand/grip to accommodate the larger screen. I take it this feature needs to be enabled? Double tap is normally to bring up the Multi-tasking UI.

Don't forget... only the 6 Plus has Optical Image Stabilization, the 6 does not.

Not sure that's necessarily true. My iPad Mini is not difficult to hold. As for it being a phone and not a tablet, I use a BT headphone, so you will almost never so me with a book to my ear.

Why is the height such concern? I think the width and thickness matter a lot more.

When I made cardboard models of the 6 and 6+ my girlfriend was really unhappy with how tall they were because they wouldn't fit in the shallow pockets of girl's shorts. I also heard some girls in class saying similar things about the size of the 6 in general. It makes me think that maybe in the future there will be an iPhone mini.
