They will never do those thick lines.

5.5 doesn't exist, there hasn't been any leaks!

Apple would never make a phone that big.

They will never use the term plus, that's so tacky!

WTF, protruding camera? That's not Apple.

Did I forget some?

these remind me of the "If Steve were alive..." posts

well if we was, Scott Forstall would still be in charge of iOS design

strange indeed ... looks a lot better with the smaller icons if you ask me :confused:

It's an option which can be enabled under display settings.

Scroll down a little here: http://www.apple.com/iphone-6/display/ - Display Zoom

Thanks, that's good to know. Another poster said it could be an option under settings.

It probably is a new feature in iOS8, but I thought by now we would've read about it from the beta testers as a new feature.
Oh well, tomorrow iOS8 and Friday iPhone 6, we will see.

Not sure that's necessarily true. My iPad Mini is not difficult to hold. As for it being a phone and not a tablet, I use a BT headphone, so you will almost never so me with a book to my ear.

You're not sure the iPhone 6 will be more manageable than the 6+? Really?

Sigh.. Total self promotion, and little to no information was shared outside of the available photos and press material.

Seriously feels like a "me first" video, and I love (as I expected) that they are monetizing it on their YouTube channel. Also loved the shameless plug to sell cases sales too.

ah okay cool! i am surprised apple is giving such an option ;)

now what happens if you have the last row filled up though? will they be thrown on the 2nd page messing up the layout of that page?

Don't know the answer to this, but that's exactly what would happen on my old jailbroken device with extra icons/rows, when I would backup my phone, and then un-jailbreak and restore. Icons were thrown onto a new page.

Can someone with one of these early phones please, for the love of God, run a God-forsaken geekbench so we can finally put the question of RAM to rest? Or is Apple forcing them all to keep it a secret?

I have to admit my own trepidation about its size. But in the end, the extra battery life, plus the landscape view make me almost confident that The Plus will be right for me. I am hoping to replace my iPad mini for use during the day. then I may upgrade my iPad with Retina Display. To my surprise, the mini has become my go-to iOs device even though it's only 16gb and wifi only.

I went with the 6 this time, but the more I think about this as an overall general use device, and not a phone, the more I am liking the 6 plus.
And with a their watch being able to show me notifications, which means less taking my phone out of my pocket, this makes it even more appealing.

But at this point I am too impatient to cancel and wait a month+ for a plus!

My pre-order is a Plus and I'm going to wait and see this thing in hand before I make a final decision, but that thing looks like it might be just a bit too big for one handed use for me. Hoping it works out, but it looks like the guy would have a hard time hitting icons on the far side of the screen while using it one-handed.

Shame, don't really like either now, doesn't look too great.

Also at first I was convinced the iphone 6 in the first video was the iphone 6 plus.

They are both just crazy massive.

Envy the 128gbs though.

The iPhone 4 design wow'ed me. The iPhone 5 design wow'ed me. The iPhone 6 design did not. And hopefully just a coincidence to think that it is likely the first iPhone that did not get Steve's final OK.

It is a matter of taste and maybe people love this design over any other. I on the other hand don't think it is their best. But I am buying it anyway for the increased screen size, thinness, and other specs.

The Plus simply is just too tall. The more I see the Plus in pictures and videos the more unwieldy it looks. Those bezels definitely needed to be smaller. How was Samsung able to fit a bigger screen and a stylus in a more compact and attractive package? Still want to see this in person though.

Have you held it? Because I ordered my screen protectors and a temporary case (until Lifeproof gets theirs out) and when holding it in my hand, it feels great and no where nears as big as I thought it would be.

Unlike Samsung's Note series, which are very wide, the 6 Plus still fits great in the hand (again, basing it off my case). Which is a 3mm think micro case.

You might have tiny hands, I don't know. That said, my tiny 5'3" wife ordered the Plus too and held the case I bought in her hands, she immediately loved it. She's ditching the Moto X, which she said was the best feeling phone since her iPhone 3GS, but she loves the way the 6 Plus rests in her hand, again, unlike the Note series which caused her hand to be spread out and made it difficult to hold on to (yes, I had a Note 3 too).

They did, but not enough, evidently. I think they kept it for symmetry with the bottom bezel, which can't go much thinner because of TouchID. So unless you want a Samsung-style swipe fingerprint scanner...

You know that's where the camera goes right?
