Yes, as long as you buy it directly from the Apple Store. If you want to be really safe, just get a Verizon one (from the Apple Store, since the Verizon stores won't sell you a phone without a wireless account). All Verizon LTE phones are unlocked.

Rather lame Apple is not including a SIM removal tool in the box any more...the hole appears to have been increased in size so a small paperclip works fine.

They include it in the "SIM-free" versions that go on sale later.

Sorry for the delayed response. No. They only had 16gb. Who lines up for 4 hours for a 16gb 6+ - that's the most casual purchase I can fathom.


I'm interested in the 128gb. Would have walked away with a 64 on the day one, but now I'm willing to wait.
