iPhone 6 Begins Shipping to Customers for Sept 19th Delivery

Tried it all day yesterday but "Deutsche Telekom/T-Mobile" was either down or painfully slow the whole day. Called them the old school way and will get it on Sept. 19th. 
And I'm not mad anymore that my iPhone 5 which was like new after the standby button repair and battery change a few weeks ago, fell down and shattered on the concrete on Sept. 9th.

I preordered at 4:22am on the Apple app and did not have the option to ship. What are the odds of picking it up early?
BTW, I had an order through AT&T at 2:50am, received my confirmation and then another email saying my credit info was not what the Equifax had, so that was my backup. Thank goodness I did because AT&T royally screwed it up and after 6+ hours with multiple reps my order was cancelled by someone at AT&T.

Not always. I stayed up because I'm a developer who, despite working for a very large entity am not given devices to test on at work because it's magically not in the budget (yet fancy flat panel TV's for meetings are...) so I have to bring my own.
That being said you're mostly right in your statement

Mine still hasn't shipped and is still processing. Will pick it up at Apple Store next Friday so I probably wouldn't even get a tracking number

Yeah I am, in fact so jealous that I bought 5S 6 months after. I think I'll be just as jelous this year if not more.

I had the same problem so I called Apple yesterday and changed the shipping address to my work. I did the initial order through apple and had to wait on hold about 2 hours but was worth it cause I'm going out of town on the 19th so who knows when I would get it! (I also changed my billing address to my work on att.com, just in case) I think this better than pre-signing and leaving it at the door.

Exactly what my Verizon email says. I ordered my iPhone 6 + 64G from Apple for store pickup on the 19th. And that says still processing. But that date is locked in

Ordered from the apple App Store probably long before anyone else. I am almost certain I should be part of the first batch.
