Great news...mine changed to shipped and says I'll be receiving a day early. Not uncommon compared to past launches :):apple:

Unless they screw up, FedEx is required to hold it until the 19th. They have an agreement with Apple not to deliver before that date.

I hope you get it early! Post pics if you do so we can drool...

Issues at Apple

I think we are seeing the beginning of a huge rift between Tim Cook and Jonny I've.

Tim is obsessed with efficiency, and untold millions of dollars in shipping costs could have been saved if the iPhone didn't have such a huge bezel.

I really hope Tim uses his leverage to push for a more rational and elegant design on the iPhone7.

Looking forward to the comments from all those iPhone purists who have been laughing at any screen bigger than 4 inches.

I am mostly looking forward to the comments of those people who kept talking about how ugly those lines on the back are, how it is Apple's worst design ever or how unusable a phone with a protruding camera is. Now that practically every tech site is stating that these are Apple's most beautiful phones to date, they have fallen strangely silent.

Well its thinner does it weight lighter they never said anything about weight.

Ive may have tons of power, but Cook is still the CEO. If Cook felt strongly about the bezel, it wouldn't have happened.

These tech sites need apple's sympathy in some form to survive. It drives them business unlike other brands. I have been complaining about the ugly bands from the beginning and I will not "evolve" in my opinion even though I bought the i6+ (specifically in SpaceGrey cause the bands look least hideous in that color from my point of view).

This is how people know you have no life you get up in the middle of the night to order a ****ing phone then you spend hours refreshing pages and cursing and then you tell the world about it.

Next stage delivery tracking. Jesus Christ...
Then you read it and make comments on it. That's how we know there are people who are beneath us. We feel sorry for you.

yeah, plus weighs 60 grams more than 5s

Yea, but according to Apple, it also has a 60% longer standby time. A lot of people here were saying that they wouldn't mind a heavier phone, if it had a better battery performance. ;)

Check if your phones really ready for dispatch

I just checked my Apple Device Manager at https://supportprofile.apple.com and it clearly shows my iPhone 6's serial number in the list. Thus showing it is really ready for immediate dispatch for release day. Yes I'm one of those sad people who's an Apple Fanboy clicking refresh at 1 min past the pre-order time, but I did manage to place my order 22 mins later on the Apple.co.uk site :)

P.S. I ordered at 8.23AM GMT so wasn't up in the night for hours, I only woke up at 4am to get ready (only kidding lol)

I think we are beginning to see a huge rift between your imagination and reality.

Shipping costs would be reduced even more by making the next one thinner. Perhaps Tim's obsession with efficiency is the real culprit behind the protruding camera, and he used his leverage to override Jonny Ive's healthy dedication to put more battery inside. Or perhaps Steve Jobs is directing it all from beyond the grave, and HE'S the one to blame for any design choice that doesn't conform to our own obsessions.

Thats me! September 19th. Would have paid more if i could have had it before then though!

You could pay more and get it sooner, but it may involve two brawly men, a dog, a shot gun and an unmarked van lol. Not that I'm saying someone should ram raid an Apple Warehouse as thats illegal and completely wrong!!!!

Weird how my ship date is over an hour earlier than yours and in the exact same location, yet says 9/19 lol

I work for a company that begins with an F and ends with an x (the abbreviated version).

Packages are destined to arrive Thursday evening for the sort. So early deliveries seem doubtful unless another delivery company that is a 3 letter name gets theirs earlier?
