iPhone 6 iCloud backup failing

Recently, I decided to free up my iCloud storage by deleting my iPhone backup. After doing so, I attempted to take a fresh backup, but I got a message saying it failed. Hence I put it on charge and went to sleep, assuming that it would back up automatically to iCloud as usual. This has not happened either and when I try to manually back it up, it tells me it failed. Could someone please help?
P.S. I'm on iOS 9.3 public beta 1

Yeah probably is a problem with the beta, I'll try again tonight and see if it works while my phone is plugged in. I have backed up on my computer just to be safe though

Its a known issue, and its not only related to 9.3.
