The 6 plus has, supposedly, a superior camera, but I read somewhere the screen gets laggy at times.

The 6 Plus has the exact same camera. Same lens, same sensor. The difference is that it has an OIS system. All OIS does is reduce hand shake. In other words, it gives you a little more stability in the image in a low light situation. Other than that the two cameras are identical.

On lag, both phones suffered from some lag, but it was software related and seems to have been addressed by iOS 8.1.

So again, both phones have the same technology for all intents and purposes.

I though only the plus got focus pixels?

The 6 Plus was my choice. My previous iPhone was the original iPhone 5 and even despite it's larger display than previous generations, I still had some trouble typing on it. It was only then I started thinking of getting a Galaxy Note but the iPhone 6 Plus was perfect as I really have a lot invested into the App Store and iTunes and have a Samsung Tablet which reminded me of how long many Android devices take to get a firmware update.

I ended up calling T-Mobile to see about finding a 6 Plus since all retail locations were back ordered for months. I ended up getting my 6 Plus in two days...

I always get the flack for getting the "bendy phone" from Android fans but I have had no such problem.

I love the display quality, pictures and videos don't do it justice. Once in hand, it really is an amazing display and amazingly sharp. The added width really made a difference for typing text messages and I never thought I would see such a wonderful looking device overall.

I ordered the 6+ for the better camera and the superior pixel density and resolution.

One more reason: I won't lie, I want it to compensate for something else that's really small.

This is the argument I see all the time here and I this time I just have to call BS. I wear SLIM cut pants 5 days a week to the office and SLIM cut jeans (now that its cool) on the weekends. I have no problem at all fitting my Plus and wallet or keys in the SAME pocket. In fact, we took the kids to the zoo yesterday and I walked around all afternoon not realizing the Plus was in the same pocket as my keys. When we went to get in the car I realized my keys were in the same pocket and feared my keys had scratched up my case. To say it cant fit in pockets is complete bogus nonsense.

Also FWIW, I wear a jacket to church on Sundays and it fits nicely in the inside pocket (although noticeably heavier than my 5s.

Just to be fair.... On the last few warm weekends I wore my hybrid board shorts (surfing). They are a very thin material that is made to stretch with your body. I didnt like carrying the Plus in those pockets. You could see the outline of the phone and the weight of the phone felt like it was going to pull the shorts down (Although they are a little bog for me). Also I felt the phone swinging as I walked. It wasnt terrible in those shorts, just uncomfortable and thats the one complaint I've had with my Plus.

Got the 6. I wont lie, I did want the 6+ but I just couldnt wait any longer for a new phone since my 5 was crapping out. i managed to score a gold iPhone 6 128 GB. When iPhone 7 comes out, you better believe I will preorder the bigger size.
