It's hard to get overly excited these days about it. It's essentially going to be a well built, metal cased 5-6" phone which will ultimately look like most of the other phones on the market.

The evolution of the software seems to be most important and in Apples case, most lacking element at the moment. Having a slightly bigger grid for your apps won't change much.

My 2p.

I see where you're coming from, but surely the grid of icons isn't where a larger screen is meant to shine. More content on the screen for web browsing, apps, etc is where it is.

The iPad doesn't have more icons on it's grid (aside from the dock) yet it manages to fit a whole lot more on it's screen than it's current iPhone counterparts. Presumably that is what sells an iPad over an iPod touch or iPhone.

Apple is losing market share because cheaper phones from other manufacturers have improved so much, they are a viable cheaper alternative.
Apple's move? make it thinner, and increase the price by $100... go figure.
The $100 increase rumor is laughable... Not gonna happen.

Same with this 5.5" delayed iPhone. If it's not being released or at least announced alongside the 4.7" one this fall, you'll be waiting a full year for it guaranteed.

Oh, and while we're on it... That 12" Retina MacBook Air unicorn model? Keep dreaming, they just updated their MBA line we'll see you next year thanks.

I know these are rumors, but how about factoring in a little common sense? We know how Apple functions, it's predictable and slow.

;)

I noticed that too… they are all rectangular shaped… rounded corners and have a screen on one side! :D

Sorry… I'm being a smart a$$… I'm just ready for the real thing. I wish they had better control on the leaks. I miss the old days of being surprised on announce day.

But I'm sure, like most previous Apple products… the feel of the new phone should be really good. Just like the new iPad Air… you have to touch it to really appreciate the design and the feel of it.

Surprised on annouce day? Both iphone 4 and 5 design got leaked and the 3G was leaked in a similar fashion to the real device months before their reveal.

Am I wrong in thinking this is the first mock up or rendering or leak that features all of the sensors on the top front bezel in a single row rather than stacked? I am talking about the light/proximity sensor, the speaker, and the front camera.

People are getting really good at making mock iphones....but whats the pount, they dont function...why would u do this as a hobby, go build ships in a bottle or something.

I'm not sure I get your point, other than that you feel another persons time is better spent putting ships in a bottle lol.

Leaks like this spur a tremendous amount of hits leading in revenue. That is just one (very likely) reason for a mock up. Case makers also want to be ready with cases at launch. Another potential reason to make or buy said mockup info.

I love how thin this iphone is going to be! Cannot wait till fall.

What happened to the dual flash from the 5S? I hope Apple keeps the same flash and the same color way.

Im going to wait 3 years for when the 5.5" comes out. That will give Apple that much time to milk the 4.7" design.

Like many others have said, I couldn't care less about it getting even thinner. I do like the rounded edges but there comes a time when the thing is just too thin. I'd much rather have a larger battery in a thicker case.

why doesn't anyone ever clean their hands and phone before shooting these videos? am i the only one that finds greasy screens disgusting as f-?

Looks like the mock up has the Facetime camera next to the speaker instead of stacked, why do that but not reduce the dead space?

why do these people have no friends to hold the camera for them?

Mock up looks like a 5C that someone sat on. Flatter bigger. Woopedy doo

I agree. The mock up looks nice but it is nothing that I think would fit an iPhone 6.

Looks nice but so far I'm not sure I'm jazzed up about the thinness. I'm worried about its structural integrity.

Lucky for us, Apple employs engineers to worry about structural integrity so that we don't have to. :D

Perhaps but by the same token, we saw too many bent iPhone 5 threads, so evidently they didn't think too hard on this issue (at least with the iPhone 5)

Looks very nice.

This is basically the iPhone 5c design, except with an all-metal case, a thinner profile, and of course the bigger screen.

Where is the Dual LED Flash

I'm loving the mock-ups but is apple throwing away the Dual LED Flash? I haven't seen it on any mock ups and I feel like it would weird for apple to just do away with it.

Looks great to me. Not sure why folks are complaining about thinness. There are a number of phones out there thinner than the 5/5S and they aren't breaking in two or anything. Really looking forward to the 4.7" size also.

Apple probably figured out a way to do dual flash in a round enclosure.
