Fells good to be right! 2GB of RAM it is!

Wonder how many 6+ haters will be exchanging their phones haha.

I think MacWorld is making an educated guess. Wait a few days to be certain.

I agree, I don't think it will have 2 GB of ram. Why would an iPhone need 2 GB of Ram? It would be a waste of money and halve the battery life! Who wants a phone with a 2 hour battery life! I use one app at a time and have no problems at all.

ok

I think the plus is going to have a higher clock speed and 2gb of ram. I have nothing to back this up but if the extra features are any indication all signs are pointing to this. it has more pixels to push and already has a name indicating it will be better than the regular iphone 6. So why not? C'mon apple justify that $100 premium.

Pretty sure Apple justified it by giving it a bigger screen and slapping the "Plus" type onto the box.

This is Apple we are talking about after all. They justify a TPE slip case riddled with holes as "creative" and "luxurious" and slap a $30 price tag on it when its worth about $0.99 all over eBay.

Once again, MacWorld and GSMArena are guessing. Anandtech has posted their educated guess on the topic and they are guessing 1GB.

None of them know. Wait a couple days and we will have a definitive answer.

You guys are getting your hopes way too high. This is apple so expect the bare minimum.

I think it will become really confusing, iPhone 6 plus is hard to handle in one little hand, so i decided to go with iPhone 6 4.7" but now i see the difference that plus have 2GB ram capacity and long battery life that iPhone 4.7" doesn't have so i am confuse which i should get ?

RAM is still speculation for the 6+ so don't have a panic attack just yet

There are 20 or so listings in the GeekBench DB for iPhone6's.

Not a single one shows 2Gb of RAM... yet.

If you are referring to the ones marked with model numbers "iPhone6,1" and "iPhone6,2", I found out those are actually model numbers for the 5S, not the iPhone 6. I made the same mistake. Still have not seen any iPhone 6 benchmarks posted to Geekbench yet.

EDIT: I did just find one screenshot that is supposedly a Geekbench result for an "iPhone7,2", which probably is an iPhone 6 (the 1.38 GHz CPU speed matches what has been reported elsewhere). It indicates 1 GB RAM, although who knows if it's legit, or what model iPhone 6 it is.

If legit, it's not a bad performance, it would be about 25% faster than iPhone 5S in both single-core and multi-core performance. Considering the screen revolution increase and extended battery life, that's fairly impressive IMO.

"Early benchmarking using the Geekbench application suggests that the processor is dual core, and has a frequency of 1.4 GHz. It's paired with 2GB RAM."

That doesn't sound like a guess.

All this debate about the RAM is entertaining... prepare to be disappointed! My advice? Stop expecting it and you won't be as disappointed when it comes out...

I would even take bets about both have 1gb ram...
Why?
Hello ipad air and all its pixels and requirements...

I see you're still trying excessively hard to convince yourself your 6 is going to be superior to the 6+

Not at all :)

I'm simply amused by the fact that some try to make the 6plus into something that it isn't. I can already see the threads posted here.

"App X has awefully slow animations"
"Stuff looks blurred as hell around here"
"Playing FlappyXXX and my Plus melted"

etc.

Dont forget the usual "Steve is rolling inside his coffin", "If SJ was still alive".....

Fact is, Apple always knew how to milk you for every penny. 1GB Ram, most likely but as long as iOS homescreen runs smoothly no one but die-hards like us will care, majority will accept and move on without any complains.

Leave troll!

If I look around here, you have been accusing people of trolling left and right.
You probably think this is OK, because your opinion is so valuable.

Others might perceive your remarks differently.

That's why the Note 3 has a more energy draining processor and three times as much RAM as the iPhone 5S.....and yet it returns much longer battery life.

Just that guy. Look at the thread he started where a moderator had to shut it down. He claimed to have a 6 and 6 Plus and would take pics. Them he said a bunch of bad stuff about the 6 Plus. Then had a "wedding" to go to. And then he never responded.

Just face it, the 6 Plus has 2GB of RAM and for some reason people want to discredit that to feel better about their 6 purchase.

Just playing devils advocate, wouldn't an A9 chip paired with 2gb of ram be a great starting point for the iPhone 6s? They really have to show a solid improvement with the internals of those to make them worth while.

Suggests? Yes, it does. It's all guesswork until it's confirmed, not "suggested."

Like I said, seems like you're trying excessively hard to convince yourself the 6 is superior to the 6+
