I swap between a 6s and a 6s+ and I don't think either of them could replace my iPad.

I also use my iPad 100% as my personal computer replacement. It would be even harder to just use a 6s+ as my only machine as I prefer a bigger screen for some tasks.

My iPhone 6s Plus hasn't replaced my iPad Air 2 at all. My iPhone is always with me wherever I am, and I don't take the iPad out of the house every day. But when I'm home, I'm on my iPad. Sitting on the couch, watching TV, or whatever. I'll often be surfing on the iPad, and texting on the iPhone. I have small hands, so texting is easier for me on the phone than on the iPad. For surfing, FaceBook, etc the iPad screen size is way better, for me.

I use my 6+, 12" rMP and iPad Air 2, all almost every day. They all have different purposes and uses. Even though the Macbook and the iPad are very close in size, they both serve different purposes well

Same for me, well mostly. I have an iPhone 6s Plus and had an iPad Minin9 (original model). There was little differnce in size. It made no sense to have those 2 devices so then I bought an iPad Pro. I use the iPad Pro instead of my 27" iMac often because it's readily available regardless of my location. There is a significant difference in the screen size between the iPad Pro and my iPhone 6 Pkus. There are times when I prefer to use my iPhone 6s Plus (mostly on the go and away from home); times when I prefer to use my iPad Pro (mostly around the house from room to room); and times when I prefer to use my 27" iMac (intensive use). Basically, I use all 3 devices and each serves a distinct purpose. I love having all 3 at my disposal.

When I first go my 6 plus I did use it a lot. Now I only use my 6 plus when I leave home. If I'm at home I'll use my air 2 for just about everything.
Its the exact same thing to me. When I got my 6 plus, I used it a lot and I though it can replace my ipad. A year and couple of months later, I use my phone basicaly just for calls, texting and browsing the web for quick google search. Everything else, I basicaly just use my ipad at home. Bigger screen, more space and I can still receive my SMS and calls on it so my phone is a little useless for me at home.

But I still love my 6 plus for the good battery life, and bigger screen for texting, photos and some tv shows here and there on the bed or on the go. Also, for listening music, I prefer to use my phone.

The 6 Plus might be able to replace an iPad if you're young, have good eyes, and cash is tight. For old farts like me, there's no way to make a phone big enough or a tablet small enough that one device will fit all use cases. I've got the 6 Plus and the iPad Pro, and I'm happy.

My sentiments exactly!

I have the iPhone 6s Plus and an iPad Air 2.

Whilst I carry my phone around with me 99.9% of the time there are occasions where I prefer to use iPad.

As I watch television "on demand" it feels easier to watch it on my iPad than it does my iPhone.

Plants vs Zombies 2 is much more enjoyable on my Ipad. One cool thing I like to do is connect to my xbox one and stream local channels in my home office to it. I also take my Ipad to most meetings, iphone is just not big enough for my word, excel, notes etc

Nope. I can still do so much more on my iPad that I never could do on my 6S+.

Sure, after 6+ I could argue that iPad Mini is too close in terms of screen size and doesn't offer so many benefits over 5,5" phone. But iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro still offer way better consumption and working experience compared to 6+.

I've shifted from my iPad mini 2 to even my smaller iPhone 6 lately. The iPad mini 2 is quite sluggish on iOS 9 and it's getting annoying. If I had a "plus" iPhone I likely would not use the iPad at all. Now if it was a full size iPad and it were newer/smoother with a better display, I would use it a lot still.

To me, an iPad is an unnecessary invention. A smartphone and laptop is all I need. I've tried the iPad Mini 2, and I did my best to like it but I ended up selling it after a month or two. I absolutely prefer using my phone and my MBP for browsing, watching videos etc.

I use my phone when I'm on the go, or when I'm on the couch doing some quick browsing or voice searches, also in bed browsing and some Instagram etc. before I go to sleep and when I wake up. I use the MBP in the dining room (my favorite place to chill) or on the couch while watching TV. I like having a physical keyboard, a screen without dirty smudges, and one hand free when I'm scrolling through webpages with a cup of coffee in my other hand. I know you could do that too on an iPad with one hand but it's uncomfortable and cumbersome. An iPad/tablet never again for me.
Oh, That is so sad... Maybe your getting STARVED and also a poor person. It also means that YOU CANNOT AFFORD Multiple Devices at a time. BTW i have iPhone 7 Plus for everything, iPhone SE for music, iPad Mini 4 for GarageBand, iPad Pro 12.9 at Home. and i also have Macbook Pro 2015. And i use them equally.

I am sure that they worked it out over a year ago.

Wow. What a strange attitude to take. Have you thought of therapy ?

Selling a Device that you don't use at all means that she is poor and cannot afford to have multiple Device at a time.
I myself, honestly i don't use my iPad Pro 12.9" because it is just too big and ankward to use while i have macbook but i'm not kind of person who just sell things on Ebay. Even if i use a gadget that i don't use??? I just give my gadget to those one of my relatives.

Selling an iPad is a sign of getting poor, or lacks of money.
I do not need rehabilitation and for your comment please don't be offended.

I've got an iPhone 6, a rMacBook Pro, and a 1st generation iPad Mini. Honestly I don't use my iPad Mini really at all and I probably use my iPhone for 95% of my usage whether I'm at work, school, or at home. To be fair though the iPad Mini is still running iOS 7 and is pretty sluggish. Even though I love my iPhone 6, I may just eliminate my iPad all together in the fall and get a 6S Plus.

The need for an iPad isn't as much as a need for me as it use to be.
If you are not a poor person, why don't you give your iPad one of your Family members so they can use it?

If you sell an iPad maybe your getting poor.. or starving plus

It really says a lot about a person when they feel the need to judge and name-call other people who make different choices than they do.

Still remember days when I had a magazine rack next to throne. Now all I need is iPad or iPhone. Isn't technology wonderful.
Yeah but with magazines you get fresh ones every week or month. Pitch the soiled ones. At least most of them, except for ones used over and over, the really dirty ones.:rolleyes:

How do you disinfect your iPad? Daily washing in soap and water, alcohol rub down?
