This looks like a larger iPod touch with a phone/text function, touch ID, etc. and I like that. If they also added the iPod touch colors I would buy the (product)red model in an instant.

I think it would be funny if Apple leaked fake designs or rejected prototypes… and the actual iPhone 6 resembled none of the concepts.

I just want to turn my iPad rMini 128GB LTE on AT&T into a phone and I will be set….lol

I like the rendered images, I just hope the new phone comes out very thin, water resistant, and better battery and camera. Jonny also needs to get rid of the White basic look of Notes and Calendar, go back to the other version in iOS6

If and when Apple announce large iPhone, can't wait for the same people that did the smack talk about larger display to start, Omg! The best thing ever made since the sliced bread!

If Apple does indeed release larger iPhones, they *need* to do something with the additional display real estate. If not, count me out.

Looks like a 6C rendering, not a 6. It looks like a polycarbonate backing and the curved look gives it the appearance of a Galaxy phone. Not going to happen

What a beauty of a rendering. Both look incredible. I'd be hard-pressed to decide between the two, much like it's gonna be hard for me to choose my next iPad between the Mini and iPad Air when the time comes. The two things that give me pause, however, is the lack of the two-tone flash and the lock button being on the left side and not the right. That's gonna throw me for a loop initially if they switch the lock button.

And you have to ask what does it accomplish. I dont think Apple just change up designs for the sake of change. I also assume there is some well thought out reason for it being where its always been. Maybe that the majority of people are right handed, and those people tend to hold the phone in their left hand, they will locking the screen with their index finger as its longest, and that naturally sits on the right hand side.

Maybe this is a left handed version?

If it happens, some people will like it, some people wont. Some people will have liked it since they first heard about it and will continue to like it when its real. Others will have hated the idea at first, but it will have grown on them in time. Still others will hate it all along.

I like your positive way of thinking - you are setting yourself up to be entertained. You will find what you are looking for, because there will be every kind of person voicing an opinion.

Well done sir!

It may be just me, but the renders show some very round corners and it just reminds me of a Galaxy SIII, S4 and S5.

Not much of a fan of the overly round corners either. Thinner is nice to an extent, when you start making components stick out (camera) I think you need to question the validity of the decision.

Bigger is cool. The design is ok for now if this is it. Can we not get something like that teardrop shape design from a few years back though? And I guess at this point we've all given up on the hopes that Apple will add something other then the app grid in a larger size. And I pray it's still in gold.

In the end, this is an all-new case design for the iPhone 6--one that is less expensive to manufacture than the case design with the metal wraparound antenna used from the iPhone 4 to iPhone 5S.

In short, my guess of the iPhone 6 reminding us of an iPhone 5C writ large may not be far from the truth.

Hopefully the schematics are fake. I've wanted a slightly wider iPhone for some time (for typing only), but this doesn't look comfortable to use with one hand.

The render also looks reminiscent of the original iPhone, which isn't a good thing at all. The iPhone, 3G and 3GS were ugly looking devices.

what about pocket size and hand size. I want a phone that does tablet things, not the other way around.

It's interesting how Apple copied the Galaxy Note 3 by incorporating the exact display size. A very wise move, the Note 3 sells very well.

That's the best looking iPhone yet.

My initial reaction to your quote was "What the hell is pmz talking about?!?"
After testing your theory... I am sincerely sorry. You're exactly right. Great observation.

Unfortunately for me, I was so hyped to disprove your theory, disparage your character, and call you juvenile names. I can't do that now. Thanks Obama.

15 minutes later...

Dammit my unrequited outrage needs an outlet. I'm just going to PM you all the crap I was going to say about you in the forum.

Disclaimer: Just joking. Someone might actually think I was serious.

LOL.

It is rather absurd though when you realize how much better it would be in the top left corner for righties.

Let's look at the camera position from 3G S onward, and then we'll see how hideously retarded it looks on this render:

I said it was in a bad position? I bet you're one of those people who would be happy that the iPhone would have kept the origional look. Things change, get used to it.

4" size

Apple, please give us back the option for the ideal one-hand 4" size. iPhone 5 is nice, but when I run my old 3G just for a comparison, this size is soooo much better for a phone!

If these renderings are correct I wonder how they will combat the cellular signal issues that arise from a full metal body?

Ps love the design however.
