I think so long as Apple insists on a physical button, folks like us are out of luck. They are going to keep stacking the front facing camera on top of the speaker instead of next to it which makes it even taller to balance out the symmetry of the phone.

I do not doubt Apple will bring a larger screen, it has to! But I doubt the edges are going to be rounded smooth anodized: it would make the phone slippery as hell, specially if the whole device is larger.

Plus, with the bigger screen is much better for browsing full-size websites, reading maps, watching videos etc. you can leave the trendy metrosexual man-bag containing your iPad at home, won't need to have 2 devices on your wireless internet subscription and will also be spared the social-reputation-destroying ignominy of holding your iPad up to take a photo.

Exactly this. With a bigger phone, you don't need to carry around a second, larger device to actually get things done on. It would be great to be able to skip the bag altogether and just put a larger-format phone in my pocket (because contrary to fanboy belief, it does fit in pants that fit normal human beings).

I don't know - I always felt the bump up in size in the iPhone 5 was perfect. So perfect it reduced the time I spent on my iPad significantly. I really don't want to be carrying around a pancake/shoe every day. Hoping they keep the current form factor as well......

Finally! I've been wanting Apple to increase the screen size since the iPhone 4. But why all the .7 etc sizing? Why not just round it to a 5 inch screen. I think the Samsung Galaxy S4 was the perfect size in terms of screen size and body ratio for a phone.

I really like that the edges look less sharp - more like the 5c (which btw. I think has a fantastic 'feel' to it). Very nice design ... sign me up for it.

I think the rounded corners look like the HTC One, but the HTC has a curved back.

Actually, my iPhone 4S just barely fits in some of my pants pockets as it is. A larger phone would probably get lost, because I couldn’t pocket it.

On the other hand, I’m always complaining about the fact that I can’t type worth a damn on that tiny iPhone screen.

I’ll let those two competing ideas fight it out in my subconscious while I go have a cup of coffee.

If you don't want the bigger one, just buy the smaller one. I really think if Apple goes to 5.7" they'll keep a smaller (cheaper) model.

I'd love a 5.7" for winter/fall when I've always got a jacket, but I don't want to lug it around in the summer in my shorts. I'll probably go 4.7" if that's an option.

I would be all about an iPad Air-like iPhone 6. 4.7" seems like a good size... Bigger than current size, but not so big that it takes a lot to get used to it.

I'd be concerned about the screen durability. My iPad Air glass cracked after only 6 weeks, and I didn't even drop it.

That defeats the entire purpose of making the phone bigger. For crying out loud you have unlimited home screen pages and folders. Why on earth would you need to see an extra row on each page?

The whole purpose is to make things larger and easier to see. In some cases, like Games and other Apps, you'll get more real estate instead...but for the general UI....it should all be BIGGER.

Two sizes of iPhone are fine, but all the rumors are talking about two new increased sizes of iPhone.

One should be the old form factor, I want a new phone with a 3.5 inch screen.

Not even close. I completely get where this guy is coming from. 5" and 6" phones don't fit in totally normal pants (definitely not wearing skinny jeans). The iPhone 5 fits nicely in all of my pockets with a bit of extra room, for keys or change or my wallet depending what ends up in my pockets. But even with that phone in my front pocket it's still hard to sit down without it jamming into my hip. And don't even get me started on how ridiculous people look talking on those silly looking phablets.

Sounds like you need the iPhone attached to your belt clip, then.

I might deal with a 4.2" or 4.3" screen, but 4.7" or the 5.x" is just too big.

The fact Apple went from 3.5" to 4" was a great thing, but I don't want to carry a huge phone around. That's why I have my iPad mini, to use a device with a larger screen.

if they end up doing two screen sizes, then the phone better have the same hardware/software features. None of this 5c 5s crap differences. I don't want to be forced into a larger phone for the 'extra' stuff.

EDIT - looks like maybe it is rendered that way- at least partially. But the angles of the poses totally obscure it. Any way to see a side view?
