I think Apple will ship the 5S and 5Cs remaining before rumor sites start reporting on the iPhone 6.

not already smh

seriously though.. we all know the S releases are just add-ons and extra features. Battery and a display size are key factors for some people. Apple is average in both categories.

Average Display Size - 4.4 inch (Apple 4.0 inch)
Average Battery Life - 10 hours talk on 3G (Apple 8 hours for IP5,S is now 10 hours I believe)

it goes both ways there is a lot of people that do not want to see apple go to a bigger screen and as far as the battery what phone does satisfy the people with the battery life?

My prediction is a simple one.

Screen size's all over the place, rumored by those that like to post rumors, driving many absolutely nuts until the release. Me, I'll go on with life with absolutely no interest in forum rumors until Tim Cook makes the announcement. :D Rest of you fanatics can enjoy your 11 months of rumors, and arguments about screen sizes. ;)

No one will actually know until about 30 days or less from the event announcement

Any rumours for the iPhone 6 right not are truly just speculation. I'm not taking notice of any rumours about iPhone 6 until at least May next year.

I've tried a few phones before the iPhone 5. Samsung S4 for example, offers a 2600 mah battery. IP5S battery is 1560 mah. Then again the S4 is bigger allowing space for a bigger battery

Don't get me wrong, I know some people prefer the smaller phone for portability, but if it were released in multiple sizes that would be great in my opinion. I'm 6'2, my hands are pretty big lol so I'm pretty flexible when it comes to the phone sizes. For women, a smaller device seems logical.

Yes, the 5S released last month. I'd still like to know what the next generation could be. I'm just thinking ahead.

I agree, but again I'm thinking into next year.

I think this thread is no different than any of the other existing iPhone 6 (and screen size) threads. Take your pick of the rumors out there.

Logic has nothing to do with stereotyping. There are women with larger hands. There are also men with small hands.

You're right my apologies.

i am 6'5 and i too have tried the samsung note 2 with the bigger screen and for the first couple of days it was weird but after that i was use to the size and feel i do agree that would be ideal for them to release 2 differnt size screens but i do not think i would want a screen size as big as the note as it makes it very uncomfortable in the pants

The only feature I still want from Apple is a larger hard drive for all of my music. I don't really care about a larger phone since it would be too big for my pockets and NFC hasn't gone mainstream yet.

lol "uncomfortable in the pants"

I had the Note 2 as well and I did get used to it. I think the S4 was a good size. (5 inches) I also agree two different releases would be nice. It would satisfy consumers looking for a bigger size and consumers who like the original size.

It comes down to what people are used to. Some people dont like change, while others embrace it. I like to change things up every now and then. Once you use an iPhone, you get accustom to the OS. Same for users on Android. I like the fact Apple released the 5S and 5C. It allowed consumers to have a choice.

5S is crap. I can't wait for the 6. Thank you all for buying it though and driving up my stock price :)

Crap? I don't think its crap.

A larger display doesn't necessarily mean a larger phone. They can trim the sides down a bit, lower the home button or scale it down, trim some space off the top, etc. There is numerous ways to do it.

I think the need to upsize is something that apple would respond to with the 6. As android sales have shown, there is a large customer base which actually values the larger screen for surfing the web or watching media-content. I almost went in for the Samsung Galaxy4 when it came out because i really liked the larger screen and the android widgets..What held me back was a outright pathetic feel of the phone (I thought it was too fragile, and I hated the leather cover)...If Samsung does come out with a metal unibody for the GS5 (along with other improvements and/or additions) I see a lot of people like myself contemplating switching (even if the devise is still inferior to the ip5 in terms of build quality)...So i hope for my sake that apple comes out with a larger screen (Around 4.7-4.8 would work best for me) as I really do not want to break the apple chain (Have had every iphone till date)..

Yeah, the 5S, the fastest phone Apple's ever made, with the best camera, and the quickest unlocking method, is pure crap. Which is why the shelves are empty...

You're the kind of joyous person I love to sit next to at a baseball game...a season ticket holder who usually just leaves the seat empty, and boos throughout the game when he does show up.

Thankfully, your 10 shares of Apple will never garner you a seat on the board.

10 shares lol. I love guys like this who continue to increase my yields. Thank you for being so dedicated. Listen u don't have to justify your purchase to me. Just please continue making them. Oh, I'm the guy behind the scenes laughing at you consumers for buying into good marketing and high margin products. But, no really, spend money. Thanks.

If they shrink the button, imagine the number of "designers" on the forums and on blogs begin to complain about the usability issues.

I am betting that Apple WILL give us a larger screen on their next model and yet keep selling the iPhone with the regular size screen.

Choice is good and I think we are seeing Apple go into a new direction where they have multiple new phones introduced and not just one.

Maybe a more flatter shape can be used, like an oval or a rounded rectangle. It could then be used for navigational as well.

Yeah, there you go. There's always something.

yeah I need a bigger screen or I'm out!
