This is what mine says when I went to place the order just now. I really hope that is not the actual ship date. My iPhone 4 finally died and I am using a cheap (and stupid) Android phone that I am ready to set on fire. I tried to reserve in all the stores around me on the 12th and they were all sold out of the model that I need.
If my pre-order slipped backwards (especially since I have a 10/16-21 with my Space Gray 6s+ 128Gb), I'd be tempted to cancel it and take my luck with the AT&T store stock. I have a few of them around me.
(Since I'm an Unlimited data user, I have to use AT&T rather than Apple.)
So do I.....This is going to be a long week and few days. -_-My 6s order hasn't slipped thankfully. I keep checking obsessively.
My work is already tired of hearing my talk about it!So do I.....This is going to be a long week and few days. -_-
I wasn't even going to get it, until I decided to be nice and give my husband my new 6 Plus. I preordered this morning and was shocked to see some still available. Hopefully that doesn't bite me in the butt and change to a later date.My work is already tired of hearing my talk about it!
My order slipped.
Was originally Oct 1 - 7. Looks like it slipped by 5 days.

Read his post history and see if you still feel that way.I don't think OP is trolling. It is possible.
Apple Watch pre-orders had some slippages.

Be careful with that. I don't know about the stores around you, but I went to the one near me over the weekend to ask them about upgrading my daughter's phone and they told me they can't upgrade the grandfathered unlimited plans in store, it has to be done online. It's possible he was just saying that though because he was being awfully pushy about the Next plan, even after I said I wasn't interested...If my pre-order slipped backwards (especially since I have a 10/16-21 with my Space Gray 6s+ 128Gb), I'd be tempted to cancel it and take my luck with the AT&T store stock. Thank you for the heads-up on that one; I can't imagine why the stores couldn't honor the type of contract that I have, they are AT&T official. They are probably told to someway, any way, to pry your claws out of that unlimited contract.Be careful with that. That is food for thought, and make sense. I calculated with my 6s+/128 pre-order that the subsidy ends up saving me only $90 over the 2 years. So that might well be worth the price of getting it in my hands quicker; but truth-be-told, I'd probably just wait for my pre-order to be delivered.I was told differently by AT&T last week, prior to placing my pre-order: you can bring an Apple-purchased phone and keep your unlimited data plan. Purchasing is an independent process; you assign the phone to the plan you have, unless you want to change plans.
