iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Orders Begin Shifting to 'Preparing for Shipment'

I've got a 6s and a plus both 128gb, with black face, and they both turned to preparing for shipment yesterday afternoon. Ordered from Apple app 12:03am (never again from AT&T).

Update: Obtained tracking number for 6s Plus thru my phone number on file with Apple or first 8 letters and numbers of order number will also allow you to track by reference on UPS, appears to have left last night. Nothing on 6s yet. By the way, shipping weight is 0.70kg for the plus.

9-22 pm in UPS system, 6s coming from Rialto Ca. Here 25th as well.

My Mom and I ordered at the start of preorders from Apple. She's in Maryland. Her 128GB Rose Gold + is still preparing for shipment; however, I used the reference option w/ UPS and there's tracking info with delivery date of end of day Friday.

I ordered a few minutes (Texas) after her (there's even a huge gap in our order #s)...still preparing for shipment and I'm unable to track via FedEx or UPS. I ordered a 128 GB 6S in rose gold.

I'm so excited!

So, since I didn't get any tracking code from Apple, even though the charged me since last thursday, I found it in UPS page using the Track by Reference option: according to the info from the tracking code, the iPhone was shipped last saturday, but it still appears in China!

Hope this is a misunderstood and that I get the iPhone this friday.

It'll go to Taiwan, then Anchorage, be patient. Some of the posters will have the UPS plane number and even the pallet its on. I'm not going that far. Mine left China yesterday and is en route from Anchorage. I've never missed getting on the date promised yet since 2007.

Thanks! I have never known about tracking by reference using your phone number (well, my phone number ) I can see my phone. It arrived in Kentucky just past midnight.
