Melissa, I preordered my 6+ last year via AT&T and had a similar projected shipment date as you and I both do now. I actually received the phone 1 day after the release date...so it would be equivalent to this saturday. I ordered that phone an hour after the preorder went live. I'm very hopeful that we will receive our phones a lot earlier than that estimated date, if not this weekend sometime. Also, last year i didn't receive shipping information regarding my phone until it was already in the US and on the way. I got the phone 2 days after I received shipping info. It's very discouraging seeing some people have an estimated ship date of 9/24 BUT there is still hope for us! :)

I hope that happens to be the case for us.. I'm also getting impatient lol. :)

Anyone else in Southern California seeing their phone heading to Louisville before coming back to the West Coast? It seems so insane to me that my phone will come from Taiwan to Alaska and then head 3,000 miles in the wrong direction before coming back here.

That's why UPS has a hub in Ontario. ;)

And seeing how some of the flights from PANC went to KONT, there's a chance that some may be on this side of the country.

I know they have a hub there. How can you tell which flight your phone is on after it arrived in Alaska?

You pretty much can't, for the most.

However, what you can do is search for the scheduled departures out of PANC, and see where they are headed. Search for PANC (Anchorage Int'l), then click on 'more' in the scheduled departures section. From there you can sort by destination.

So far, it appears that all of today's UPS flights are headed to KSDF. Yesterday had 2 flights headed to KONT.

EDIT: If you really want to get into it, you could hit up LiveATC.net and actually listen in on ATC, from when the flight calls up for clearance, all the way through the departure. PANC, KONT, and KSDF all have feeds, so you could listen to them as they depart and land.

Google "flight aware iphone" and it will also take u to the page of all UPS flights

According to MyUPS - all the peoples who were in China, Hong Kong, then Taiwan - have now made it to Alaska... Mine and my husbands were scanned as arriving in Anchorage - about an hour ago!

And with that, and looking at the schedule, there are going to be multiple flights to Louisville today (I count 4 so far), so being able to narrow it down to exactly which flight will be hard.

Oh, awesome! Sadly, mine's been on the "Order Processed: Ready For UPS" status since Saturday. I ordered from T-Mobile, how 'bout you?

Which seems so silly, since we live in Cali... But... Yea. Hoping maybe ours are redirected to the Ontario hub.

Have u tried looking on UPS MyChoice? I ordered mine through the Apple Store App, at 12:07, and Apple still says preparing for shipment, even though MyUps shows me a shipment arriving Friday...

Yes, the estimated delivery says 9/21/2015 but that already passed and is not even possible considering that my order is not even within the UPS network and the release date is on Friday. What's weird is that they have the weight of the package already (1.10 LBs) and on the T-Mobile website it says "Shipped". Mine's also says that it's being sent from Louisville, Kentucky.

Edit: Hmm.. I think they are doing something with my order because the reference numbers started showing recently. I may have just noticed that and its been there all along though.

Maybe it's coming FedEx?
